(A/N: Sorry I haven't posted anything but here's something.) :)
After many wins and losses like the first game I had, it was a rough season. We were 5th best team in the Eastern conference. I have heard rumors that the Raptors wanted to trade me. Trade me? Their starting point guard. To another team? Using that first round pick just to trade me in the mid-season? That can't be true. At least they're rumours. But sometimes rumours are true.
I don't know if they are going to trade me but but it's pretty clear when my GM calls me. So this is how it happened,
"Sorry son, you just aren't a fit in our offence," my GM said.
"It's ok, I've had a great half-season with this squad, I hope for the best," I say.
"Thanks, so we're trading you to Washington Wizards," he said.
The Wizards have always been one of my favorite teams! Like during the 2014-2015 when they had John Wall, Nene, Paul Pierce, and Bradley Beal.
*The next game the Wizards have*
I haven't ever switched what number I wear. I have always worn #7. A great player named Carmelo Anthony wore that number. ( A/N: *DO NOT CALL ME A KNICKS BANDWAGON FAN ISMAEL!)
I get my new Wizards jersey. I am still luckily the starter even though they do have another point guard.
That game we play the Brooklyn Nets. I get warmed up and soon it was tip-off time. Our center won tip and this is my first offensive drive as a Washington Wizard. I see my power forward cutting back door. I think, they're already wanting a lob!?! I lob it to him, and he catches it and cocks the ball so far that it lined up with his number and then he slammed it home. Now, I think this is the right team for me to play for! So we get back on defence and the crowd is hyped. (We're at home, just let you know) The point guard is doing some dribble move. Wow, this is special, haven't seen this one before. I wait for the perfect time to strike. He dribbled high just for a second and I put my hand in there and get a steal.
My shooting guard already streaking down the court and I pass it to him. He pulls off a 360 and slams it home. The Brooklyn Nets now try the post for any weakness. Shot is rejected. The center grabs it and passes it to me. I dribble up the court and look for any potential weakness in the defence. I see that they don't guard the perimeter that much. I pass it to my small forward. He catches it and shoots it. When I'm running back all I hear is the crowd cheering and the announcer saying thereeeeeeeee. The game kinda just is played how it was in the beginning. The final score is 125-96.
"Good job son!" said my coach.
"Thanks," I say.
The Wizards seem like the right team for me. I just hope we can make it the playoffs...
