A chance at Forever

Chapter 1

June 4th 2004

"Havyn! Come here please!" I heard my mommy yell.

I set my Barbie down nicely and went to my mommy and daddy's room across the hall from me.

Once I got to the door I saw my mommy doing her makeup in front of the mirror with the lights.

I went over to my mommy and sat down beside her watching her do her makeup in the mirror. She smiled at me and said, " do you think it looks, good sweetie?"

I nodded, " very beautiful mommy!"

She laughed and set her makeup down, " Thank you, sweetie, now that I'm done with my makeup we need to get you ready!"

" get me ready for what ?" I asked while playing with her curled hair.

" we're going to a premiere tonight, that's why we came to Paris, Havyn." My mommy explained.

I was still confused though, " what's a premiere?"

My mommy picked me up and started walking back to my room, " A premiere is where we walk down a long red carpet and take pictures, then we go inside a big building and watch a movie! During the movie, we get popcorn, drinks, and other snacks!"

I gasped," We get popcorn!"

My mommy sat me down on the bed in the hotel room, " Yes Havyn, we get popcorn, do you want to know what movie we're going to be seeing?"

I nodded while she went over to the closet and pulled out a dress, " We're going to be seeing a movie called Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It's a movie about magical people! I'm sure you'll love it. Now we need to get you dressed okay?"

" Okay!" Mommy helped me undress then She pulled the blue flowered dress up onto my shoulders. Then She turned me around and zipped it up.

" It's a bit chilly today so you're going to have to put on some warm tights underneath your dress okay?" My mommy said.

"Okay, oh mommy is daddy coming with us to the movie?" I asked her while she grabbed a pair of tights out of my backpack along with a pair of fancy shoes.

" Yes, daddy is coming with us to the movie. He is  getting ready while we get ready"

" oh okay" I said

My mommy had me sit on the bed while I put my tights on, then she put my fancy shoes on.

" Okay, you're dressed! Now we've got to do your hair, what do you want to do with your hair love bug?"

" Ummm... I like buns!" Mommy does amazing buns.

My mommy laughed, " okay we can do buns. Stand in front of me while I do your hair okay?"

" Okay" I went in front of her and did as she told me to.

After tugging at magic hair she said, " Okay your hair is all done!" I turned towards her and smiled.

" Awh sweetie you look so adorable! Now, Your daddy should be in the kitchen, why don't you go find him. I'm going to get into my dress"

" Okay, mommy!" I ran out of the room and down the hallway into the kitchen, once I was in the kitchen I saw daddy fixing his tie.

" Daddy! Mommy told me to come out by you while she gets dressed" I said while going over to my daddy.

My daddy said, " Are you all dressed and ready to go?"

"Yup! Mommy got me dressed and did my hair too!"

My daddy looked down at me and smiled, " You look absolutely adorable Havy! Did mommy tell you about the movie we're going to go see?"
