ARIBELLA HAD JUST TAKEN A WHOLE BOTTLE OF PILLS. She had lied to get them, she was always lying. Manipulating people is something she's always done just to get her hands on pills.

The brunette had hurt people, lied, betrayed, and manipulate them. It was the drugs that were controlling her or at least that's what she had told herself.

Now here she was walking on the edge of the bridge, a bottle of pills in her hands as she balanced on the edge of the bridge. Her eyes her blustery red, mascara running down her face. Her clothes looked like she had just been set on fire, burned to a crisp, and ripped.

Ari was-no is a drug addict, she didn't know why she was she just was. Maybe it all began when she took that one pill two years ago. She wanted to live life on the edge, to have a wild life like everyone else.

She just wanted some adventure in this small town. Vicky has offered her and instead of saying no and walking away, the older girl made some convincing agreements so she complied. She took it then another and another and another. It was an endless circle that she couldn't get out of.

But she did desperately want to stop but she just couldn't. It was the high she got, the euphoric feeling, and it was amazing but it all came crashing down. By the end, she wanted to die, it felt dysphoric. She felt so depressed to the point she wanted to kill herself.

And when that time came she got high once again. If she wasn't high she was stoned. It was either this or that.

She took one deep breath and swallowed the entire of pills, she had already taken an entire bottle of pills just a few hours earlier. She was in rehab, she was truly getting better.

But it all ended when that one pill was offered again. By the same person, she didn't know why she didn't walk away.

Maybe it was because she missed it or that her words, her lies sounded so much like the truth that she wanted to believe it. Wanted to taste it.

Ari's eyes felt droopy, her legs felt heavy, she grew tired in a span of a few minutes. Her hands were shaking, dropping the empty bottle. Her legs gave out she had dropped onto the cold ground, her head hitting the ground with a huge thud.

It felt like someone had snapped a pencil. It was so loud it rang throughout her ears, it was so loud. It wouldn't stop. Her legs her dangling off the edge of the bridge, she was laid out on the ground like a blanket she desperately wanted to wrap around her.

It was freezing, she felt like hell had just frozen. It wasn't a blissful feeling it felt so cold. She could feel a puddle of water near her, it was everywhere. She didn't know where it had come from, it hadn't rained in months.

Ari felt her body shaking, shaking and shaking it wouldn't stop. She felt something foaming coming from her mouth.

All of sudden, her body went limp. She felt dead, she looked like it. She felt something pounding maybe it was her head. She didn't know.

Then it all went silent. There was nothing. It was all darkness, not a light in sight. Her pain. The pain she felt...was gone.

She felt free...but at the cost of what?
