Felix has always been seen as a special kid. His parents left him and his brother when he was still young. And because of this, they are both damaged in ways people could have never thought. But they were able to manage and live somewhat of a happy life.
Felix, hurry up. We are going to be late for school, Chan said. Felix was scrambling, trying to look for his paci. Im coming, give me a second. Chan walked into the room as he scrambled to look for his paci.
What are you looking for? We are going to be late. Felix was scared to tell his brother because he feared that Chan might feel weirded out by this. Something I cant tell you, he said in a rush.
Well, hurry up because we need to leave. After a long search, he found it and shoved it into his bag. Alright, we can go now.
*At school*
School has never been Felixs thing. It has always made him feel suffocated. But today was different. Two new kids came to his class. When the first boy came, Felix felt mesmerized and couldnt take his eyes off him. Then, the second boy, Felix, looked into his eyes and felt he could relate.
Class, I would love for you to meet the new kids in our class. The teacher turns her head and looks at the students to see if they would like to introduce themselves. Would you guys like to introduce yourselves?
The shy boy looks at his brother, scared, and he whispers to him. Do I have to? His brother looks back at him and whispers, No, its okay. Just go sit down.
Before he goes to sit down, he scans the whole room for a seat. After scanning the room, he saw two seats. One next to Felix and the other behind him. He walks over to the seat and sits behind Felix. Then, the other boy started to introduce himself.
Hi, my name is Hyunjin, and the other kid you saw is my shy brother Seungmin. Hope we can become friends.
There is an empty seat next to Felix. Felix, raise your hand., said the teacher. Felix raises his hand and gets very flustered. He was going to be sitting with the new kid. The kid whom he had met and thought was cute. And his brother was sitting right behind him. He started thinking and told himself that he had to calm down because overstimulation would cause him to go into a little space, and he didnt want that to happen in class. And especially not in front of the new kids.
Hyunjin gets to the seat and sits down. Hi Felix, nice to meet you.
