"Why did Dio hate Jonathan?"

I guess it all started when Dio was born or at least that's when he started seeing his mother being treated poorly Infront of him.

His father being abusing and over-working his mother causing her death. I believe he watched his mother get over-worked Infront of him and saw her death. Making his hatred at the biggest level for his father. Imagine if the only person that actually cared about you died to the person you hated the most. You would have been in rage.

Well then his father got older and didn't change the slightest and forcing Dio to make money and then spent it all on alcohol. I don't think Dio even went to school before the adoption. But he was clearly a genius child that wasn't really appreciated by anyone.

He poisoned his father for revenge. Before his father died though he told him about the Joestars. Dio instantly thought they were super rude because no rich person treated him nicely. And I also think that by the years, he got treated so poorly that he just gave up on becoming a good person.

Meeting Jonathan he thought he was a two-faced person (I don't know if the term exists in English but in my language it means that Infront of you they act nicely but they talk behind your back all of the time)

So with that mindset he treated Jonathan poorly and started to make his life a living hell. (Part 1 begins)
