So, like almost every Friday, or the weekends, they would go to the movies. Remember the things they "did" at the movies, okay. Just wanted to get you to the point where we were at in the last chapter.
Then their relationship began to slow down. I guess Lily felt kind of creeped out at how Derek wanted her to come over to his house because he wanted to go to the movies EVERY Friday. Sounds really creepy, really, as you think about it. Anyway, it started slowing down.
"Why don't you just dump him," I would say, every once in a while.
"Oh, I'll just wait for a little while."
Seems like she did this for ever until she told me she did.
"Finally you made the smart choice," I said
"Yeah," she said.
