TW: Depression, ED, SH, cursing

"Hey, Nat, have you seen Y/N lately? I think I talked to everyone. No one's seen her besides when she's leaving in the morning and coming home from school in the afternoon," Wanda asks.
"Actually, no, I haven't. Not since last Friday night, for movie night. Where is she? Is she even in her room? Is she alright?" Nat replies, with a growing look of concern creeping across her face more and more with every word.
"That's a really good question. I'll go ask Daisy and Jemma. I forgot about them. Their rooms are next to Y/N's."
"Yeah, yeah. That's a good idea. You go do that. I'll try texting her. You know, before we go knocking down her door."
"Mm," Wanda replies, heading off to find Daisy and Jemma, who just happen to be walking down the stairs as Wanda approaches.

"Hey, Wanda!" Daisy says, and Jemma smiles with a little wave.
"What's wrong?" Jemma asks, noticing the concerned look on Wan's face as she and Daisy get closer.
"Have you seen Y/N? I don't think she's left her room in a week."
"You're right, she hasn't," Jemma replies, glancing over at Daisy and back to Wanda, as her eyes widen more and more.
"I'm gonna go see if she's there," Wanda says, looking at her phone that just went off. It's a text from Nat:
"Nothing. She won't answer."
Wanda sighs, and Daisy offers, "You want me to come with you to check on her?"
"No, no. It's alright. I think it's better if only one of us goes."
"You're right. She'll be more likely to open up," Jemma agrees. Daisy nods as well.
"I'll update you."
"Okay," Daisy and Jemma reply.
Wanda heads up the stairs to go see you.

She knocks on the door. No answer. She knocks again. Still nothing. She puts her ear to the door, hoping to hear some signs of movement, and breathes a sigh of relief when she hears the faint sound of the TV on in the background. It's your favorite movie.

"Hey, Y/N, you in there? Is everything okay? Y/N? Please let me in, I just want to talk. Are you alright?"
She hears the bed creak, and then you shuffle over to the door.
You fumble for the doorknob, trying your best to quickly fix your shirt and smooth out your hair.

"What's up?" you say, sticking your head out the door the slightest bit, attempting to hide the messy room behind you.
"Y/N, what's going on?" she replies, pushing the door open, a look of horror and shock washing over her face when she sees the state of you and your room.

All of a sudden, Tony appears, shoving Wanda out of the way. His eyes widen when he sees what's before him.

"Y/N, what is happening to you? You used to be such a neat freak. What happened to your room? The bed looks like it hasn't been made in a month, let alone the sheets changed. There are piles of clothes and empty bags of chips all over the floor. Peter tells me you've been failing all your tests. What happened to your amazing grades? What happened to your hair? When was the last time you brushed it? When was the last time you brushed your teeth? Washed your face? Ate some protein or fruit? Worked out? Drank some water? What, do you just live off of soda and coffee now? I knew you were addicted to caffeine, but I didn't think you only drank coffee! What has gotten into you?!"

"Nothing! Nothing, okay?! I'm fine, Tony!" you yell at him, and he walks away, speechless, shaking his head in denial and disgust, not even bothering to care.

"I hate myself, I hate my life, I hate everything. What's the point in even trying anymore? I'll never be good enough anyway! I don't want to be here anymore. I wish everyone would just go away and stop fucking caring about me all the damn time!" you think.

Wanda just looks at you, sympathetically. She read your mind. You both look like you're about to cry, but she's the one with tears in her eyes. She slowly closes the door behind her, stepping into your room.
"Y/N," she says, a single tear rolling down her cheek.
"I don't want to be here anymore..." you think, knowing Wanda is reading your mind, not being able to say it out loud.
"Baby..."
"I'm tired, Wan..."
"I know, I know, my love."
"Why do I have to keep fighting?"
"Because there's a way out of this. You know there is."
"What if there isn't? I can't go more than a month and a half without falling into a depressive episode. Sometimes those last even longer than a month."
"I need you to stay strong for me, for all of us."
"I'm sorry, but I just can't keep going anymore. This time it's... worse than ever," you say, glancing down at your legs, and then at the shiny silver pieces sitting on your dresser; glancing at your growing stomach, and then at the bags of chips and candy bar wrappers strewn across every single surface in your room.
"Y/N... no, please..." Wanda says in a whisper, tears falling from her face.
"I can't do it anymore."
"I'm right here. I'm going to help you get through this."
You can't reply. You just hug her, as tightly as you can. She hugs you back even more.
"It's gonna be okay."
