Chapter Seven - Living In The Future Not The Past

You walked into the curator's room but still no sign of him insight but it was odd it wasn't like him to be late so you decided to wait for him and so you decided to make you something to drink since he's is not in his office but you did felt like being watched but you brushed it off or did you. You walked to make some coffee (Your favorite coffee name) while you waited you heard noises from the window so you went to go check it out. When you did you saw a future city. "Wait that can't be, it was 2022 how am I in the futuristic city?", you said but you felt a hand on your shoulder and you turned around and saw the curator. The Curator: "Let's continued the story. Also your coffee is done", he waited for you to make your coffee and went to go seat. The curator: "Alright chapter seven - living in the future not the past", and he started to read to you while you drink your coffee.

Fang was explaining everything to Yin and Yang while their kids went off and play in the park. But Fang wanted to make sure that the Qin twins don't ever show their abilities because they will be experimented on in the science lab that can be used by the government. Since the girls didn't want to do that, they have to be and people from this world are started to suspect the twins in their lives and don't want to leave their kids with their husbands alone to take care of them. But if it does happen they need to remember there are living in the future and not the past. Fang's daughter's already keeping watch of the twins in the distance since they are already being watched by others. Fang doesn't want anything bad happens to them since they wanted their children to grow happy seeing their mother grow old one day. Fang: "Listen, girls, I understand that you are not used to this world but this ant 206 BC anymore this is 2046. You need to understand why you can't just show your abilities to people your husbands find least they know but not strangers in public areas. You will be taken away by the government if you are not careful.", she said and started to get up and waved goodbye to the girls, and left. Yin understands but they have no choice that can't let people get kidnapped, robbed, or hurt in this world but they need to find a way to show their powers in secret. Yang: "Even though I disagree on some things but Fang does get a point sis but what will the government find use out, what will we do then", she said to her oldest sister Yin wanted to help people but she looked at her daughter and decided to agree with this and stop using her powers for good only for her daughter's sake and their safety. When it was time to go home Yin and Yang went back home but can't help to feel like being watched but someone. 

- Behind a bush/someone pov- 

"Do you see the target?" he said into the mic on his hear. "Yes, I see the target and going to get them", as he walked but was stopped by Daiyu and Tao. Tao: "Excuse me, can you help me find this building and location I seem lost". As Daiyu's sister was asking questions about where to go Daiyu decided to flirt with the other person that person was with. As for tithe me, that was done for the distraction they left. As for the other people they lost their target. "I lost visual on the target".

- End of behind a bush/someone pov-

Daiyu and Tao walked to their mother and told her the good news. "Well did it work?", Fang said to her two daughters. "Yes, and they fell for it too, and Daiyu did a good job as well", Tao said to her mother. Fang was happy that her daughter's plan worked. Fang: "Just keep a close eye on those types of people, we don't know what they are up to with the Qin twins. Just make sure they don't lay a hand on them", she said to Tao and Daiyu and all three of them left. -Time Skip- Yin's daughters are all grown up and was proud of how far they have become. Yin was making dinner while her husband was a work. Yin's daughter wanted to ask her mother a question and the youngest decided to listen in. Xinyan: "Mom, what was it like in the year 1046 BCE?", she asked and that made Yin's face drop a smile and look at her child. So Yin decided to play dumb. Yin: "What I wasn't alive in 1046 BCE, sweety I was born in 1998 witch makes me..I..um.. 24 years old and not hundred years old", Yin's daughter Xinyan didn't buy that so she kept asking until Yin finally told her oldest child/ Youngest child who was listing the truth about her life. Yin: "Fine I confess but keep in mind you must keep it a secret if not... I will be taken away by the government and you won't see me anymore", Xinyan and Beidou nodded their head and said "Promise". Yang already explained to her children about her past since she was born in 1046 just like her sister. And Yang's children didn't mind or care but were wondering was it like in that timeline so did Yin's children. Yin and Yang's husbands came back home from work and were shocked by the news that the kids finally know the truth about their mother so the twins had an idea but had to shut the blinds and make sure everything is turned off. (Author note: This is different pov's) So they sit on the floor and are ready to show their children and husband what they can do with their abilities. Yin: "Ready", she asked her kids and they both look at each other and nodded.  Yang: "Are you ready, for this", she asked her children and they nodded. Yin showed water and ice while Yang showed fire and water but the kids Xio: "What are your other powers", he asked his mother while his sister asked "What is the animal that gave you life and power?", her daughter asked. While for Yin kids asked about the animal and her other powers. Yin showed a snake but the kids were scared until it spoke to them. "Hello. Xinyan and Beidou I heard so much about you and you too Mrs. Qin". The kids were confused but asked what was the snake's name. Yin: "Kid meet Nüwa she gives me my powers and also cleans my wounds as well", she said the snake must go to bed since it was getting late. As for Yang, they have to wait until they go outside and they did and went out far away from the city. - Time Skip- As they ran into each other Yin and Yang's husband and children watched the mother show their powers. Yin showed her blood abilities so she cut herself and went up to her children and showed her blood abilities even though it was gross but Yin made it look like it wasn't. Yang finally showed her dragon and the kids were in awe Yang: "Yin, show them how big your animal is", Sean thought her snake was normal size but he was wrong. Yin showed her snake again and it was a big snake-like dragon but a little bit taller. The dragon walked up to the children and gave each child a charm to protect them in the year future. Tianlong: "This charm will protect you, throughout your years. Also my name is Tianlong but you can call me Tian for short", he said and walked back to Yang. As for the snake, it gave them a bracelet to protect them from negativity. Nüwa: "This will bracelet, will protect you from negativity in your life. Also I forgot to introduce myself my name is Nüwa but call me Nu", she said transforming into a small snake.  But one thing they didn't know Nüwa can turn into a human as well but chooses not to. Yin: "Yang, show them father's powers", Yang nodded her head and the kids notice the children's great-grandpa's powers it was green colored it looked like it gives life and hope to the world. And the animal that gave the powers was an Ox as for Yin decided to combine her powers with Yang's since she has her mother's powers. A tiger and ox started to run with each other Yang's power color for the tiger was hot pink and yellow-orange. After a while combining their powers made a symbol that was Yin and Yang which their parents named after them. - Time Skip- it was time to go home until the same two-man appeared and wanted to run some tests on Yin and Yang. Daiyu and Tao made it just in time for this and told Yin and Yang  "Run, take your kids and a run", she said to them Yin: "Wait about you, Daiyu", she asked Daiyu: "Don't worry we got this", Yin wanted to help but Yang pulled her sister's arm and decided to run. Tao: "Let's do this".

When you were done drinking the coffee also the curator was done reading chapter seven of the empress of shanghai. When you were about to ask him some questions he was gone. You went to put up your cup and decided to go look at the window and admired the city. Y/n; "Up next on The Empress of Shanghai, Chapter Eight - What Will We Do Now?", you said to yourself while looking at the city.
