Hey Arnold is a show with 6th grade kids
The adventures of Arnold, a fourth-grader with a football-shaped head who lives with his grandparents, Phil and Gertrude, in the city of Hillwood.
The theory went as far as to say that his name came from a form of hydrocephalus, known as Arnold Chiari Syndrome. As a result, Arnold was bullied and had no friends, so all the characters in the series are a product of his imagination.
Hey Arnold! first debuted as an animated short for the Nickelodeon film Harriet the Spy in July 1996. Production on the show started in August 1995 and ended on December 7. 2001 after 100 episodes and one theatrical film, though the very last episodes, were not aired until 2004.
The show centers on a fourth grader named Arnold Shortman, who lives with his grandparents in an inner-city tenement in Hillwood, Washington.
Arnold's parents were explorers and had disappeared on a humanitarian mission to San Lorenzo, along with the plane that was carrying them.
The Sunset Arms boarding house of 4040 Vine Street is where Arnold lives with his Grandpa and Grandma. The house is owned by Grandpa Phil and his twin sister Mitzi. Grandpa's father won the Sunset Arms in a card game in 1890s, and that's where Grandpa was born. The house is very old.
Animal characters
•Abner (pig)
•Monitor Lizard.
•Helga's Parrot (bird)
•Lockjaw.

Abner is Arnold's pet pig. He was a gift from the Green-eyed People at Miles and Stella's wedding from a water basket. Phil first thought to cook Abner but Stella decided to keep the pig. Abner was mistaken for a girl by Stella, who wanted to name "her" Abigail.
This nine-year-old's home is Hillwood City, a fictional amalgam of Portland, Seattle, and Brooklyn. Arnold's parents are absent from his life, so he lives with his spunky grandparents in a boardinghouse inhabited by neighbors of varying ages, races, nationalities and income-levels.
Hey Arnold! takes place in a realistic urban setting; the fictional American city of Hillwood, Washington (though the city is never verbally named). Contrary to popular belief, the city is not New York City, though it did contain inspirations from it.
Sunset Arms boarding house
Arnold often acts as the stable center to those around him, whether he's around his "family" in his paternal grandparents' boarding house, or around his friends at school. He lives in Sunset Arms boarding house with his grandparents, Phil and Gertrude.

Disagreements led to the canceled series

After the unsuccessful big-screen debut of Hey Arnold!, disagreements between Bartlett and Nickelodeon began. According to Screenrant, these disagreements prompted Bartlett to leave, resulting in a canceled series.
Airing on Nickelodeon, the show was about a boy named Arnold (with an unusual football-shaped head) and his daily life with family, school, and friends.
Helga Geraldine Pataki is the tritagonist and overall main antagonist of Hey Arnold! She is Arnold's arch-rival yet love interest, later girlfriend.
"Arnold you make my girlhood tremble, my senses all go whacky. Someday I'll tell the world my love...Or my name's not Helga G. Pataki." Is a quote Helga says.
Helga's catchphrase is "criminy", which she apparently picked up from her father. She's allergic to strawberries (see "Quantity Time"), which causes her to break out in hives. As seen in "Downtown as Fruits", she names her fist "Old Betsy".
Because of her parents, Helga is unable to really connect or bond with her older sister, Olga. That neglect is what leads Helga to be deeply insecure, despite being gifted for a nine-year-old. The reason she likes Arnold is that he was the first person who was ever kind to her and treated her like a person.
Football Head is Helga Pataki's favorite teasing nickname for Arnold given for the characteristic shape of his head. Wolfgang has a similar nickname for Arnold: "Football Face".

hydrocephalus is Arnold's disease.
Because Gertie and Phil were old when they 'made' Arnold, he was born with a few conditions. One of them is hydrocephalus. That the reason his head has such an odd shape. There's one type of hydrocephalus, the one Arnold suffers from, that's called the Arnold Chiari syndrome.Jul 19, 2017
