"Wait what are you talking about Phil" techno asked as he stepped aside to let the older man into the house.
"You know that enchanter I told you about," Phil said walking into the house.
"Yeah?" techno said his tone asking for further elaboration from Phil.
"The one I said got arrested," he said putting emphasis on the word arrested.
"That's the thing I met them before they got arrested, so-" techno started explaining himself before he got cut off by Phil again.
"Yes, techno I know, that's exactly the problem," Phil said growing impatient. The longer he spent there trying to convince techno of his plan, the shorter time they had to execute it.
"You've lost me," techno said trying and failing to see the point Phil was making.
"Cypress was arrested because you visited them," Phil said stating a fact that we all knew about, but techno had no clue of.
"Elaborate," techno said after a few moments of silence.
Phil sighed before continuing his explanation.
"Cypress has been convicted of conspiring, with you, to overthrow the government. Because she was seen helping you, techno" Phil said finally putting emphasis on techno's role in cypress's arrest.
What felt like minutes of silence passed before techno finally recovered from his shock.
"That's...not good," Techno said at last.
"Yeah, no shit mate," Phil said quickly, stressed from the conversation, and the whole day in general.
Techno exhaled before asking Phil,
"So, what's the plan old man?"
Cypress got woken up by the sharp sound of the guards banging on her cell bars.
"Get up you have a visitor." The harsh voice of the guard calls to her.
She quickly sat up, readjusting her prison jumper. She quietly prayed that the visitor was Phil. No one else knew she had even been arrested, so her wish didn't seem that outlandish. However, as a figure stepped in front of the door to her cell, she realized she had been experiencing a stroke of bad luck. One of the people who had originally arrested cypress stepped into view and motioned for the guard to open her cell.
The man was short, maybe an inch taller than cypress. He was dressed in what looked like a track suit with a butchers apron over it covered in what Cypress assumed was dry blood. He was no longer wearing a helmet so cypress could clearly see his hair tucked into a beanie. Overall, the man's appearance was not very intimidating. Even the very serious face he had on right now looked as if he was about to burst into laughter at any moment.
"Put cuffs on her, she's to come with me." The short man said.
The guard stepped forward, pulling cypress up of the bed to cuff her hands behind her. The man nodded to the guard before grabbing Cypress's shoulder and leading her out of the room. He led her down a series of small tunnel like hallways before they finally stopped in front of a heavy oak door. The man stuck a key into the door unlocked it, then gave it a hearty push.
The door creaked open to reveal three other men. Cypress recognized two of them as the other people who had arrested her. One of them she could now recognize as the president. The third man cypress had never seen before, but he was definitely the most interesting one out of the three, his face split down the middle, half black half white.
