Chapter 10.

Lumi was drying off her hair from a quick shower she had taken while Jade was using her vanity to apply her own makeup.

"I can't believe he hugged you." Jade said.

Lumi looked down and smiled. "He was probably just doing it because we are supposed to be boyfriend and girlfriend."

Jade turned in her seat and did a gasping face. "No way. I can tell. He hugged you because he wanted to. You guys looked happy."

Lumi blushed slightly at the thought of her friend spying on them. She had hoped Jade was right.

"I cannot wait to party tonight!" Jade said excitedly to Lumi turning back towards the mirror.

Lumi smiled and said, "Ok don't get too drunk this time."

Jade squinted at Lumi through the mirror.

"What are you going to wear?" Jade asked. She was already dressed in red skinny jeans and a black tank.

Lumi looked at her closet and pursed her lips. "Mmm."

"You should wear a dress! Oh I know." Jade shot up from her seat and dug through Lumi's closet.

She had seen a dress Lumi had hung up for a long time but never saw it on her before.

"This!" She pulled out a blue dress Lumi had made.

It was a spaghetti strap fitted dress. Lumi made a face of denial.

"What!? Why not?" Jade asked, disappointed.

"It's not ready." She lied. She wished she could wear that dress but she actually tried it on a week ago and looked at herself in the mirror. She frowned at the memory of her gut slightly pushing the fabric outwards.

Jade decided not to push her and put the dress back in the closet.

"Ok...what about this?" She asked, pulling out a dark green button up silk top. Another creation of Lumi's. She could never afford that top at the stores but the fabric she could.

"You could pair it with some dark jeans or leggings." Jade smirked.

Lumi blushed slightly after remembering what happened last time she wore a pair of leggings at a party.

"I think I'll go with jeans." She said and got up to pluck the hanger from Jade's hand.

"Great! Get dressed so I can do your makeup," Jade said.

Jade had straightened Lumi's wavy brown locks and applied some appropriate make up all in the right places on her face after she had gotten dressed.

Lumi stood up to look at herself and Jade examined her.

"Let's untuck one side of this button up. Oh and." She said as she pulled one side of the shirt out from Lumi's dark skinny jeans and unbuttoned the top two buttons of the blouse.

Lumi gave her friend a look once again.

"What? Let the girls out tonight." Jade winked and giggled.

Lumi giggled as well.

"What shoes are you going to wear?" Jade asked. She had already had on a pair of wedges.

"I'm just going to wear my flats tonight." Lumi said as she put on her shoes.

Lumi posed for Jade one last time and Jade smirked at her friend.

"Very sexy. Ren will surely agree." Jade confirmed.

Lumi rolled her eyes.

"Vamanos!" Jade shouted with glee.
