Immortal Girl

Chapter 4

   After ten years of training at the Zrosa Academy, I'm going to graduate today. I had become friends with Agust who placed second in our classes. Most people in our classes were intimidated by me but he saw it as a challenge to get stronger.

   "Hey Fume, are you excited about today?" asks Agust.

    "Yeah, I am. It's going to be awesome. We are so close to becoming adventurers I can taste it," I say.

   "After this, we should go to that one restaurant you have been wanting to try," he says to me.

   "You made reservations at Garden of Eden?!"I say in excitement.

   "Yep, I booked it six months ago. It took some saving up but it's a special occasion," he says.

   "You're taking her on a date that's rich," says Eric he had ranked third in our classes.

   "It's not a date you idiot it's a celebration of us graduating and soon becoming adventurers," Agust says.

   "Yeah, besides Agust is in love with Lisa. What a cruel fate that he was born a baron!"I say acting like an actress.

   "Actually she's joining our party at the Garden of Eden," Agust says.

   "Oh dang you get two dates that aren't fair," Eric says.

   "Well, actually I was hoping that you would come along too. I had made a reservation for four," he says. I look at him in shock.

Suddenly Eric grabs my hip and says, "Oh so this one is hard for you to handle I get you. Don't worry I'll take one for the team."

I roll my eyes, uncomfortable with the situation when Lisa appears and sees Eric trying to grab me again. "I see that someone told him about the dinner party," Lisa says smiling.

"We better get going or we are going to miss our graduation," Agust says. We all head to the ceremony.

"Let me welcome to the stage Fumetsu Mahō, who is the top student of this year's graduating class of Zrosa Academy!" say Principal Rivers.

I head to the stage when I hear chanting. "Monster girl, monster girl!" They say over and over my horrible nickname that Eric had given me after I had beat him in a sword fight over a hundred times.

"Okay, I'd like to say congratulations to you all, and let's become the best adventurers and warriors the world has ever seen!" I say then I leave as the crowd cheers. After everyone got the certificate of completion everyone began to leave the school cheering.

"Our reservation is at 5 be sure everyone is thereby 4 just in case. Also, you boys better wear suits," Lisa nags.

I run home to Shiro and say, "I need to get ready I am going to the Garden of Eden with the others."

"Thank goodness I get a break from training today. Have fun master," Shiro says.

"I will," I say running to the bathhouse and cleaning myself. Then I curled my hair leaving it down then pinning come back with a beautiful diamond hairpin. I created a black dress that was off the shoulders and had a cape with gold embroidery and some sparkles that made the dress itself look magical. I put on some black heels and long gloves that had matching embroidery and sparkles.

Then I put makeup on myself. I had been practicing and I had finally gotten the courage to wear it outside of the house. I put black eyeliner, mascara, gold eyeshadow, and light pink lipstick on. I headed to the Garden of Eden which was very close to the forest so I got there exactly at 4 pm. I saw Lisa looking at the clock impatiently when I said, "Hey Lisa I made it on time!"
