The last two days have gone well for Mangle.
Their blog took off after Sky read some of Mangle's reviews and actually promoted them thus boosting the blogs traffic and popularity. This was much to Mangle's delight as they had a nack for criticism when it came to art. The two had even became friends after messaging each other over the last two days.
Besides the surprising growth of their blog. Mangle got to enjoy their lunch time and closing time hang outs with Y/n. The two greatly enjoyed spending time with their friend as they actually seemed to care for them.
With all that being said Mangle just had to keep up their good behavior for one more day. Then they will be moving in with Y/n where they could hide with less people watching them. The idea of living with their crush made the two minds excited. They daydreamed for hours at the possibilities of Y/n returning their feelings.
But that's all they were daydreams. There was no way someone like Y/n could ever fall for them. There was just so many reasons why it was unlikely to happen.
So Mangle decided they would let their feelings fall to the sidelines and leave those thoughts for their daydreams.
Unfortunately their blissful daydreams were cut short.
Though things have been good there was one problem that kept rearing its ugly head. Ever since Mangle spooked him Timothy and his boyfriend Jacob had been returning every day. At first they demanded that both Y/n and their boss Eric investigate them or take them apart. When they both refused the two decided to take matters into their own hands. Thankfully the museum has a steady stream of people visiting lately and they haven't found a chance to be alone with Mangle yet.
Mangle and the couple watched each other as a small family was enjoying the gallery. They were just waiting for their chance. Mangle wasn't going to give them one. As the family kept them at bay Mangle typed out a message to Y/n to let them know that the couple had returned. With Y/n there it would be unlikely for them to try anything.
A soft pat on the head returned Mangle's mind to reality.
The small child with the couple had broken the rules and gave them a nice patt. "Nice doggy!" He said with a genuine innocence common for that age. Mangle didn't react but did appreciate the gentle touch. Hoping that the child would stop at that. Thankfully the mom answered Mangle's silent prayers.
"No you can't touch the display sweet heart!" The mother said as she swooped the child up playfully. The child laughed as they were swooped up and the couple started to leave.
The moment they were out of sight Timothy and Jacob moved in.
One of them pulled a toolkit out of a bag they were touting. Opening it and spreading it out onto the bench infront of Mangle. A cold fear ran through Mangle's system as Jacob handed Timothy a wrench. "Alright you fucking trash heep it time to expose you like a playboy model!" Timothy stood over Mangle grinning wrench in hand.
A flash of memories played in the two bots heads. Memories of hours of pain as they were ripped apart. Pain from the lack of concern from their mechanics and the parents in the room. Agony as the children they were created to love, protect, and cherish tore at their form. The agony of parts being in wrong and painful places. The Agony of no one truly caring and for it all to occur again and again in a infinite cycle!
The twitching screaming agony!
Day after day!
Year after year!
All those feelings returned into Mangle in a white hot flash of pure and absolute fear!
Here in this place where for the first time Mangle felt safe and cherished. It was too much. The bot started to tremble and curl up. They wanted to behave for Y/n they can't lash out. Mangle felt Timothy's hands wrapping around their snout. "Look the thing is shaking!" Jacob said in a mocking tone. "It fucking better be!" Timothy said as he found the first bolt and placing the wrench.
