“Damn, she's fine asf.” Tymel said, under his breath. “You think she’s coming to your parents' anniversary party?” Josh asked. “Man I don’t even know, she hasn't talked to me since I was in the hospital.” He answered. “Let me call her and ask.” Josh said. Josh calls her. “Hello?” She said answering the phone. “Are you coming to the Thompsons anniversary party?” Josh asked. Simone took a deep breath. “I told her I was coming, so I'll be there.” Simone said.
Simone calls Desmond. “Are you coming to the Thompson anniversary party?” She asked. “I’m dropping off my gifts, and getting a plate and I’m out.” He answered. Simone laughed at him. “I wish I could do the same, but i’ll go because I told her I would come.” She said, “No,You just don’t want to see Diamond and Tymel.” Desmond said. “Facts, I do not want to fight at their party.” Simone said. “We all know you have a temper.” He said.
Simone hugs Mrs.Kimberly. “Happy anniversary guys!” Simone said smiling. “I didn’t know you were coming!” Mrs.Kim said. “Despite all this mess you know I still look at you guys as parents.” Simone said. Tymel’s aunt walks up to them. “If it ain’t miss goody two shoes.” Ms.April said. “I’m going to find Mr.Thompson.” She said walking away. “I don’t like that girl one bit.” Ms.April said.
Simone walks past Tymel, but he grabs her arm. “You don’t speak anymore?” He asked. “I do speak, I just don’t care to talk to you.” She said. “Tymel, they want to take family pictures, come on.” Diamond said, pulling his arm. “I’ll catch you before you leave.” He said. “I told you I was dropping off my gifts and grabbing my plate and leaving.” Desmond said. “I have a few more people to talk to and I’m out.” Simone said.
“Mrs.Simone, can you be my mentor? I want to play tennis just like you!” Shae asked. “Yes of course sweetie, give me your number.” Simone said. “Come join the picture, Simone.” Desmond said. Simone poses with them. “I’ll get right here.” Diamond said, squeezing between Tymel and Simone. “Lord have mercy.” Mrs. Kim whispered to herself. “That's his wife, move Diamond.” Mrs. Patrice said. Simone and Diamond switched places. She smiled for the picture.
“You were one ugly baby!” Simone said, holding one of his baby pictures. “Ouch.” He said. “Mom Simone agreed to be my mentor.” Shae said. “That’s wassup, Simone, call me when you get home.” Tymel said. She brushed it off. “Call me anytime Sweetie.” She said hugging Shae. “Bye Simone!” Ms.Kim said. “I love you guys!” Simone said. Diamond rolls her eyes.
