Kakairu- No mattter what....

Perfect timing

~Iruka's POV~

Kakashi is away from the village on another mission yet again. I miss him so much but I kept myself busy with teaching at the academy and taking more shifts at the mission desk. Today it was a beautiful morning and we had an outdoor session.

"Oi oi! Are you trying to kill me? Aim the shuriken at the target and not at me!" I shouted while laughing.

" Maa... Sorry sensei." The young student said with a sad face.

" Its ok Takuna, you just have to practice a little bit more ok?" I said ruffling the boy's hair. He reminded me a bit of Naruto when he was young. I smiled.

"Iruka sensei!!!! IRUKA SENSEI!!!!" Konohamaru was running towards me shouting at the top of this lungs.

" What's wrong konohamaru? Why are you shouting?!" I asked a bit concerned.

" Its the Akatsuki! THEY ARE ATTACKING THE VILLAGE!! Tsunade-obachan asked me to tell you to get the students to a safe house behind the great stone faces." He shouted again.

" What?! An Attack on the village?!" I was panicking. We have to get the students to a safe house immediately!

" Iruka sensei, we got all the students to the safe houses safely. Now what do we have to do?" Suzume-san asked me.

" We have to protect the kids and fight to protect the village if possible. You guys take care of the kids. Im going to the hospital to offer any help I can." With that I left the safe house.

When I got out of the safe house I couldn't believe what I was seeing! The whole village is a.. DISASTER!! The academy building was crushed to the ground! There are so many injured shinobi lying on the ground. I immediately went down to help get the injured to the hospital.

" Where are you hurt? " I asked while carrying an injured shinobi to the hospital. There are a lot of people shouting, asking for help. Oh how I wish if I could help them all!

"We are at the hospital now. You will be fine." I said to the injured shinobi with a little smile.
"Please take care of him. Ill go and bring other injured ones." I said to the medical-ninja who carried the injured man in.
" Thank you very much Iruka-san for your help!" The medical-ninja replied.

I went out to help another injured shinobi. I went and tried to get him up.
"Can you walk?" I asked and started to help him to his feet. But suddenly an oranged haired strange man was standing next to me. I looked up in a panic.

" Where is the nine-tails jinjuriki?" He asked. I gulped. This man is definitely from the Akatsuki. I can see the robe he's wearing. With red clouds in it. It's the Akatsuki symbol!
" I don't know where he is.But even I knew, im not gonna tell you! You know the difference between other lands and the hidden leaf? Its that we never sell out a comrade even if it means giving out our own life! Look around you. Look at how many people gave their lives to protect that boy! You will never get your answer from any hidden leaf shinobi!"
I said in anger and frustration. I don't know what will happen to me next. But I will never sell out Naruto!

" Then you are no use to me anymore. I shall get rid of you." He got a chakra rod out of his hand and aimed it towards me. I was panicking. I don't wanna die. But with this I can die like a true Shinobi protecting my Village. Then I suddenly remembered Kakashi. Will he cry? I wonder!

I closed my eyes and awaited the chakra rod to pierce through my heart. I can feel the chakra rod coming closer nearing my last moments.
I suddenly felt another aura of chakra! A very familiar one. And the moment I opened my eyes...

I saw this tall figure standing in front of me gripping the chakra rod with one hand. I looked up to see my silver haired knight in shining armor. He returned safely! And what perfect timing! And terrible circumstance! Now im worried for him. He can't take out a man who destroyed the whole village all by himself!

When Kakashi broke the chakra rod in half with his bare hands, I was utterly shocked.
"Get out of here Iruka! I'll take it from here." He said through gritted teeth.
" You create a loud diversion. Now you will fight me!" Kakashi stepped back and got into a defensive pose.
"B-but 'kashi!!...." I started to argue.
"JUST GO!!! HURRY UP!!" Kakashi almost screamed.
I hurried out of there carrying the injured shinobi with me all the way to the hospital praying for him to come back alive! For him to come back to me alive! No matter what....
