Chapter 17

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

   The following day, I left the boys for the afternoon to have this talk with Sarah. We hit Wetherspoon's on the high street. There wasn't many in, so it made it more private for us to chat. After ordering our food, we got a bottle of red to share.

"So, what's the deal with you and the twins?" She asked while moving her brows up and down suggestively. Seeing her do it made me chuckle.
"It's crazy, isn't it? I guess we're together. Well, you know that part already. But it was just Isaac and me at first."

I carry on and tell her everything, even about that night at the bar. I also tell her about how he's still married. She wasn't impressed with it. I tell her about how he'd then dropped the bomb about Harvey, and him about them feeling the same stuff.

"Wow," she says while looking a little stunned.
"Everything they feel everything?" I nod my head telling her yes.
"That's why Isaac stayed in our room last night. You know, while Harvey and I were in the shower."
While I bite my lip, I'm grinning. Then her eyes go wide before she blows out, a huge breath.
"Bloody hell, I feel kinda sorry for them. To know you could be in the middle of town somewhere and instantly get a hard-on. All the while knowing your brother's getting some."
I grin and agreed with her. I mean, it has to be tough for them both. But at the same time, fun... well it is for me anyway.
"I don't know how I've coped with it over the years. But obviously, this is the only way they can do it with one partner," I tell her.

I'm feeling a little relieved at being able to talk about this with someone other than the boys. Don't get me wrong, I know I can talk to them about anything. But still, there are some things a girl needs to talk to her bestie about.

"I worry sometimes it'll blow up in our faces. I know I love them, I'm in love with them, and I'd die for them, too, but what happens when my Dad finds out? Especially when he finds out that Isaac's married. Obviously, the scariest part has to be when I tell him his only daughter is living with her two boyfriends. Not only that, but they're twin brothers. I know with all my heart that I want to be with them but I guess because this isn't your typical relationship. I'm scared in case I get the witch hunters at my door all with their pitchforks and firebombs."
I chuckle, but it's a sad one. I end up swallowing a lump down feeling the emotions taking over me.
Sarah reached over and holds my hand giving it a little squeeze.

"Babes, I understand what you're saying. To be honest, I don't know how it'll plan out when he finds out. One thing I do know is that your Dad worships the ground you walk on. I know he'll be there to support you, no matter what you do. And as for what other people think, fuck them. You don't have to explain yourself, not to anyone. This is between you and your men. How many people are there in your life I mean, ones that are important enough that you'd want to know about this?" She asked and I think about this for a moment and I can honestly count on one hand. I can count on one hand just how many that is. It's sad really, but when you live your life as a freak. Well, people don't tend to, stick around for long.

"Well, you always," I tell her with a smile. She's always the first to know about anything in my life. She smiles in return with a tear in her eye.
"You better bitch." She says, making me laugh.
"And well, aside from the guys, there's my dad. I guess Linda would need to know. You know, since they're together and maybe I'd have to tell Mars. She's my boss, of course. I have to see her every day, especially since I work alongside Isaac, and then Harvey comes in to visit, now and again. I guess I wouldn't want her to find out the way you did I'd get the chop with that one." She's chuckling while nodding.
"That was hot! Honestly, I felt a tingle in my under-kecks."
"Oh my god, woman, you need to get laid already."
We're both laughing but then we settle and a silence kind of falls over us, eventually. She breaks it.
