I hear murmuring.

"Shhh, people say that they can hear you ."

It's Yeji. I can hear my heart monitor again. There's some shuffling around.
Someone grabs my hand.

"Yeonjunnie, fighting." Karina softly says. She sounds exhausted. It's not the first time she's said this. I can feel something wet from on my hand. It's quiet and there's shuffling.

"He'll be okay Karina." It's Wooyoung.
What? Why is here?

Why am I here?

I can sense that they're both standing by me.

"Ya, I'm hungry. We've been here forever." Changbin whines.

His complaining remarks have always made me want to smile.

"Changbin! Aren't you concerned for him?" Yeji gets defensive.

There's a knock. "Is he responsive yet?" Ms. Song! She's still alive?

And what does she mean by her question...am I still alive?

"No. He's still....sleeping." Karina says.

"He's not sleeping-" Changbin starts.

"Changbin." Wooyoung warns.

Karina starts to sob.

No, I am awake. I try to open my eyes. They are so heavy.

I can see all of them crowded around my bed.

There's a gasp. "Hes awake!"

"Wha...." I try to speak. Gosh, I haven't spoken in a long time.

"It's okay Mr. Choi. I know you must be very concerned and confused right now." Ms. Song says.

"Yeonjun! It's Karina, do you remember me?"

I look at her and attempt a smile. "Karina..." I sound groggy.

"Mr. Choi. Can you look at me?" I turn to look at Ms. Song. She smiles brightly.

"Hi Mr. Choi, how are you feeling?"

"I'm okay." I say.

"Thats good. About two weeks ago you got in a car accident, do you remember that?"

"No." Now I'm really confused.

"Thats okay. We had to put you in a medical induced a coma. We've been trying to wake you up since last night."

I look out the window. It must be morning.

"Wait...I'm in here because of a car accident?"

"Yes."

"I thought I was in here because..." I stop. Because Wooyoung was slowly poisoning me ever since my debut with arsenic?

That sounds so stupid.

"Because why?"

"Well..I thought that Wooyoung...poisoned me..." I mutter.

Everyone looks confused and then Wooyoung breaks out into laughter..

"Thats the most stupidest thing I've ever heard." He laughs, now everyone else is too. "Why would I poison you? How would I poison you?"

Everyone is laughing hysterically.

Well, I'm glad at least someone finds it funny.

But I feel like a fool laying here in this bed with everyone around me laughing.

"I don't even know what arsenic is!" Wooyoung slaps my leg.

A shooting pain crawls up me. "YA!!"

His face drops. "I'm sorry!"

I turn to the nurse.

"Thanks for tending to me."

"Its my job. You've been a good patient."

"Well, he's been in a coma-" Changbin starts.

"Be quiet!" Yeji hits his arm and he scowls.

Ah, I love my friends.
