a new feeling

It had been a good few days since muichiro had woken up. Genya visited him almost daily even after being released from the hospital although every time he did visit he acted like he was being a burden which confused muichiro. Was it because of the rank difference? But right now muichiro had other problems. He was talking to shinobu about he memories he gained during the battle with upper moon 5.

"So during the fight you had continuous flashbacks of your past, correct?" Shinobu asked politely

"Correct...it only started happening when I was badly injured and then that's when my mark appeared" muichiro stated

"Ok so it seems like the mark only appears when the body of the user is at its max and it seems the body goes through temperatures that are normally fatal for a normal person, interesting." Shinobu seemed really interested in this "mark"

"Did you get any more information from kanroji?" Muichiro asked

"Ah, yes I did but it's just around the same as what you said, I must get going now anyways it seems like you've got a visitor." Shinobu then stood up and waved to muichiro and walked out the room.

As the door opened muichiro noticed genya waiting for him. Muichiro gestured genya to come in. Genya knelt down next to where muichiro was sitting and muichiro noticed he looked happy.
"What's the occasion?" Muichiro asked
"Nothing really, tanjiro was just being really funny" genya said giggling
Muichiro started giggling as well but then he felt an emotion he had never felt before. It felt..weird to say the least. It felt like he wanted to make genya laugh. This feeling made him feel childish and he didnt like this.
"Wait a minute" muichiro thought to himself "is this jealousy..?" Muichiro was now really confused. Why did he want genya all to himself? Is this a normal feeling to have around friends?
