Rita's Lover

Chapter 4

Rita woke up in the hospital with a stinging burning pain in her shoulder. She looked down and saw she no longer had her huge stomach. Where was her baby? she thought, then a nurse came in, she started talking

 "so Rita you were shot in your shoulder you lost a lot of blood your baby is a girl she is alright but she is under close monitoring because she is having some issues breathing on her own" Rita wanted to cry.

"When can I hold her?" Rita asked the nurse turned to look at her.

"you can hold her now but only in the NICU" Rita was happy she at least got to see her baby.

*2 hours later*

Rita went to the NICU and saw the baby girl she looked so much like her father Rita thought she also wondered where scooter was and if he knew she had been shot the nurse handed her the Baby Rita was happy to have her baby girl in her arms

 "Look at you you're so much like your daddy" then scooter came into the NICU with flowers he leaned down and kissed Rita on the lips 

"hi Rita I'm sorry I was not here I only found out from Isabel and she couldn't come Carlo made her stay" Rita was mad she was sad but what Carlo did not know was she is keeping a bank account with money in it it will get her by 

"it's alright scooter we will be fine" he leans down and gives her another kiss 

"Can I hold my daughter?" Rita smiled 

"of course, you can hold her" as she handed the newborn to scooter 

"What is her name?" After much thinking and consideration, Rita had chosen Brooke Kinsley Polarsky 

"Brooke Kinsley Polarsky" Scooter looked down at his daughter 

"hi Brooke I'm your daddy" Rita smiled watching scooter be a father was so wholesome for her she knew no matter what his daughter would come first she loved Scooter with everything she was gonna marry this man but first they needed to overcome one obstacle Carlo and to overcome Carlo she had to get rid of Katherine she is not gonna kill Carlo

just get him out of her life; she needed Brooke to be away from the abuse she suffered from Carlo; she needed to get all of her things from the mansion and get Isabel out of there as well but she needed a plan; so that night, after seeing her daughter she hatched a plan; it was gonna have to involve Isabel, so she called Isabel

Rita: hey cousin I need your help

Isabel: with what?

Rita: I have a plan to leave and I want to know if you wanna come along with me and come see your Brooke 

Isabel: sure I will be there in 10

Rita: alright bye cousin see you soon

Isabel walked through the door 

"awww how is my cousin doing" Rita laughed 

"well I'm tired because Brooke keeps me up but I'm doing alright" Isabel picked up the baby 

"Hi Brooke my name is Isabel" Rita smiled and Isabel came over with Brooke 

"look there's mommy Brooke" Rita laughed and Isabel put Brooke down back in her little cradle "So cousin what's the plan"

"I was thinking we don't kill Carlo we just prolong his suffering maybe we can give him poison or something.

" Isabel thought about what poison would not be detectable. 

 "what about sedation it will put him to sleep" Rita looked at Isabel, "what if they find it in his system"

"They have to test for it but they can't detect what would have killed him" Rita smiled

 "let's do it let's get rid of Carlo"
