I met you in the underground (Levi x Reader)

A bad day ends in a travel

A month later from (y/n)'s arrival--

"Stay away from him!!" Jean yelled and I glared at him.
"You know he's my only friend up here!" I shouted back as he looked unhappily at me.
"I don't care that kid reeks of danger." Jean snapped back and gripped my shirt and looked at me sternly.
"Don't see him again!" Jean said again as he shook my shoulders.
"Alright I get it." I sighed and went up to my bedroom.

An hour later and I heard mother coughing rather violently. I hurried downstairs and made my way downstairs and mother didn't look too good. Her complexion was paler than usual and she was covered in sweat.
I ran up to her and placed my hand on her forehead.

"Mum you're burning up! Jean! Get down here." I shouted to Jean who was sat in his room.
"It's okay mum I'm here." I said holding her sweaty had passing the fact that millions of germs that are touching my hand right now. I heard rapid footsteps from Jean and he ran into the living room to where mother sat on an armchair. I looked to Jean and he panicked.
"Jean take mum into her room and lay her down." I said getting up.
"What're you going to do?" Jean asked with a little anger in his voice.
"Getting mum some cold water for her fever." I said as I made my way to the kitchen to put some water in a cup and some cold water in a bowl. I picked up a clean rag and took the bowl and drink to mother in her room.

I kneeled down and dipped the cloth into the cold water and drained the access water into the bowl. I placed it on mothers forehead in the shape of an oblong. Jean grabbed a blanket from a nearby cupboard and placed it over mother.

The next day and mothers condition worsened. She hadn't waken from her sudden collapse yesterday evening.
"Jean I'm going to find a doctor." I said with tears picking at the sides of my eyes.
"Where are you going to find a cheep enough doctor?" Jean asked and I thought for a little bit.
"I heard there's a really good doctor in Shiganshina." I said looking up to my adoption family.
"No you aren't going that far." Jean said sternly.
"Yes I am I don't want mums condition to worsen anymore than it has!" I said back and getting up and walking out of the room to go pack clothes, fruits and money I've been saving for an emergencies.
