Longing Looks

The days after had been awkward, Reggie could notice that Oli was avoiding him ever so slightly, every time he'd smile at him he'd turn away. There was no longer the person who would look at him with stars and joy, only a hollow empty smile, the lingering touches no longer lingered. On an outside view nothing seemed amiss Oli was the leader after all he had to be strong.

" Hey Oli, are you ok ?" Ty said sitting down beside Oliver playing with his phone "why wouldn't I be " Oliver replied turning to face him with a small smile. " You don't need to lie to me you can tell me " Ty said, placing a comforting hand on Oli, this made Oliver break the dark haired boy nestled himself into the smaller man's arms and cried with a heart wrenching intensity. After calming down a bit he opened up to Ty about what happened and he felt a bit more free.

" Hey Oli, do you want to go get boba with Reggie , Ryan and I in a bit?" Sebastian said whilst twiddling the keys around his fingers, he gave a soft shake of the head saying he needed to work on some tracks which in reality he did but only declined because he didn't want to be in the same vicinity with Reggie unless for content purposes.

When walking away some one grabbed his wrist " Oliver we need to talk " Reggie said causing them to stop in their tracks, taking a small breath clenching his fist "there's nothing to talk about " he replied pulling his arm away harshly " you know there is, don't lie" Reggie replied getting a bit frustrated. "Then speak" Oliver said curtly " I know things have been awkward between us but I've given you some space after the whole incident but let's get back to the way we are. Some of the boys are catching on that there is something wrong going on" the blond said, looking down slightly. Oliver gave an incredulous look not believing what he heard and scoffed " so you care about what they think and not even the fact that I am hurting" he said pulling in a strangled voice breathing heavily, "come on Oli you know that's not what I mean" Reggie said taking a step forward causing Oliver to take a step back " No, no I know what you meant I got it loud and clear I don't even know why I like you " he said exasperated.

' I don't know too ' words fell on deaf ears as he had already walked away.
