Jay grumbles, then stares me down like I've just insulted her. "I can sense weakness. Have you been crying? I thought you were done with that nonsense."
Sabine rolls her eyes. "Hey, stupid, remember the reason we were able to recruit him in the first place?"
Jay's expression changes. She doesn't respond.
"Yeah, that's what I thought." Sabine growls. "Anyway, we're all aware of the attack we're planning tomorrow?"
I blink.
What?
"...I thought it was next week-" I say, before Sabine cuts me off.
"Well, it isn't." She hisses.
Katja and Chiyo look at each other confusedly.
Chiyo speaks for the both of them. "I swear it was next week! I put it on my colander!"
Katja interrupts. "...Calendar?"
Chiyo looks at the ground.
Sabine and Jay start cackling.
