Save Me - Help Me (Rewritten Part 2)

As Bakugou plummeted to the ground, Aizawa wrapped him in his arms, using his scarf to gently lower them both to the ground. Once safely on the ground, Aizawa held the passed-out teen carefully as he wrapped Bakugou's arms with bandages. Aizawa turned and saw Hizashi (Present Mic), Shinsou, Monoma, Todoroki, and Recovery Girl rushing toward him.

Aizawa didn't question the students' presence as he quickly and as gently as he could, scooped up Bakugou as they all rushed to Recovery Girl's office.

Bakugou lay healed and unconscious, his wounds now light scars as he slept peacefully unaware of his failed attempt at taking his own life. Monoma, Shinsou, and Todoroki sat in the chairs next to the bed that held Bakugou, waiting for any sign of consciousness.

Aizawa sighed as he held Hizashi's hand, seeking and providing comfort.

RC: *sigh* He should wake up in about an hour or so. He had a lot of deep injuries that aren't just from that fall. Do you know if he got into a fight the last few days Aizawa?

A: No, as far as I know, he was resting at home like the rest of the students. What was the extent of his injuries?

RC: *frowning* He had slashes along his back, bruises along his stomach and torso, it looks as if he hasn't eaten anything in at least a week, there was a large gash on his shoulder and head, and... and there were cuts on his wrists and ankles.

H: Do you know where he could've gotten those injuries from?

RC: I have a likely possibility, but you won't like it as it's a heavy accusation.

A: What is it?

RC: Katsuki is always a sweet boy to me when he comes in for healing or to visit, he shows he cares in the only way he knows how, a rough outside but a sweet and caring boy on the inside. He hides himself to the best of his ability and he seems afraid to let his guard down. When he was injured at the Sports Festival from being bound by All Might and the Teachers and after being kidnapped, I called his parents as it is mandatory and their response was concerning.

H: Why? What did they say?

RC: They said they were too busy with work to come and pick him up, that he had his own key so he could get home on his own. They didn't seem to care at all. I reported it but the station said that they didn't do anything illegal so there was nothing they could do.

A: His mother hits him across the head all the time... do you think that's not the only way she hurts him? It didn't seem like it was hurting him, so I never noticed. His father seems to be the calm one but when he speaks to Katsuki he always talks calmly to him yet seems to blame Katsuki for his mothers' anger. I can't believe I never realized... *shakily* On the roof, on the roof Katsuki said, he said I was always like a Dad to him. He thanked me for being the only one to care. Since I was the only one who came after him that he saw...he thinks no one cares about him. He apologized...he apologized for what he was doing and called me Dad.

Tears were streaming down Aizawa's face as Hizashi hugged him, tears pricking the eyes of the other occupants of the room.

H: We'll help him Shoto. He'll be okay, we'll save him. Just like we helped Hitoshi, we'll help Katsuki too. We don't leave family behind, so we won't leave him. Okay?

A: Okay.

Aizawa cleared his throat and calmed down. The adults walked to Bakugou's bedside and sat in the free chairs, Recovery Girl saying that she would file what happened for evidence, leaving the others sitting by Bakugou's bedside.

M: Are you alright Aizawa-Sensei?

A: I'm fine Monoma, just upset at some information that's come to light.

S: We saw what happened. Someone mass spammed the school to look out the window right before Bakugou jumped, that's why we all saw him.

A: That explains the audience. How did you keep the students from running out Hizashi?

H: I yelled at them and Midnight threatened to knock them all out if any of them moved from their seats.

A: Well that seemed to work great except for these three. Speaking of which, Todoroki, I do believe I threatened the entire class before I left and explicitly told all of you not to leave until I came back. Why did you run out?

T: Bakugou takes care of everyone, even at the expense of injuring himself. Even if others don't see it, he thinks of others before himself and shows he cares in his own way. I care about him, why wouldn't I be here?

S: *nods* I agree, if the others don't care enough to be here and get in a bit of trouble for Bakugou, then they don't deserve him. Bakugou is a good person and I'm willing to bet my life on the fact that everyone here are the closest to him and that we would all risk anything for him and vice versa.

The others all nodded in agreement, and Present Mic asked...

H: Monoma, I thought you hated Bakugou?

M: *groans* Why in the world does everyone think that?!

S: *smirking* Probably because you fight each other all the time.

M: Well duh! We're cousins, we fight all the time because that's how we show affection. We don't ever actually hurt each other, all of our insults are just inside jokes about stupid stuff we've done. We're just teasing each other. *huffs lightly and folds his arms* Idiots should ask before they accuse us of things. We're actually the closest in our family...outcasts stick together right? My Moms are great but are usually too busy with work and my little brother. Katsuki's parents aren't very er, nice to him.

(They don't really say anything about Monoma's family so I'm making him have 2 moms and a little 7-year-old brother. ~Author-Chan)

T: *completely serious* If any of our classmates try to come near him, I make no promises that I won't set them on fire and then freeze them afterward, chucking them out of a window.

Shinsou and Monoma start laughing while saying they'll help if needed, Hizashi giggles a little, and Aizawa just smiles at Todoroki's protectiveness.
