the crude slurs have been used time and time again
towards those of different truths.
long ago was never peace,
who says it will happen now?
disgusting, vile commentary on those who want to love,
practice, exist, write, and sing.
heroes are they who push past those bonds,
the bonds that they placed.
yet there are so few.
