Janelles pov
I open the big tall red doors of the building. i looked at my phone. 8:52 it read. ugh im doomed.
The hallways look abandoned almost creepy with no students or teachers. I ignore it and put my belongings in my locker.
I make my way to my class holding a stupid peice of paper i got.
"ugh i hate this" i said to myself. i sighed and enterd my classroom.
Everyone turned there heads to look at me like im some type of alien. Expect Noah who was busy chatting with his friends.
"oh well look who we have here." My math teachers says while crossing her arms.
"Sorry im late Ms Strawshrek" i say while handing her the peice of paper known as a late slip.
"you said that all 4 times you were late Janelle. Another one and im going to have to give you detention"
The class erupted in ooouuuu's as i just nodded and went to take my seat in the back row next to Michael and Iris.
"imagine getting 4 late slips" iris said while drinking water from her water bottle"
"yeah embarssing" Michael added.
"Wow thats really helping" i say sarcasticly while adjusting myself to my desk.
"okay class i'm assigning you a group project" Me, iris and Michael all looked at eachother with a grin.
"Don't get too excited yet, i decided you guys should socalize more so i will be picking your partners."
My smile dropped imedaitaly, i look at Iris and Michael and they looked worried too. Ugh i really hate this.

Noahs Pov
"Don't get too excited yet, i decided you guys should socalize more so i will be picking your partners for this assighnment."
Ah shit. I put my head down on my desk in annoyance. I looked at chris and he looked just as annoyed.
"i will be annoucning your partners now." Ms. strawshrek said as she held out a peice of paper which i believe has our names and partners written on it.
"Michael and Roy, Lori and Sarah, Iris and chris, blah blah blah blah Noah and Janelle."
I shot my head up from my desk. "who the fuck" i whisperd to myself as i looked around the classroom. Chris laughs at my confusion.
"Shes the girl in the back with the big ass glasses" Chris says while pointing to her.
I look behind me to a girl with long black hair and big black glasses with golden rims, damn he was right. She was fanning herself with her hands while her face was extremly red. There was a boy and girl beside her.
One of them clutcing their stomachs in laughter(iris) and the other one shaking their head while helping janelle(Michael).
"what... the fuck?" I say.

Janelles pov
The bell rang and i sprinted out the class.
"BRUH WAIT FOR MEE!" i heard Iris yell but i just ignored her and kept walking.
Soon enough Iris and Michael caught up to me. "That was rude" iris said while breathing heavily. "Says the one who was laughing at me instead of comforting me" i say while rolling my eyes and sitting at one of the tables at the cafeteria.
"You should be thankful, Ms. strawcheck was just being good a wing man..Or wing woman?" Iris says while whipping out her lunch.
"No because both of you should be happy atleast you guys got your crushes while i'm stuck with some kid who only talks about fortnite 24/7" Michael says before sipping on an orange juice box he stole from janelle earlier.
"your paying for that" i said while opening my lunch box.
"no im not" Michael says with a smile.
I simply roll my eyes while spotting Noah laughing with his friends in one of the nearby tables. "Okay even if were with our crushes we know damn well we're gonna be doing 99% of the work" i say.
"i dont see a problem with that" Iris says while putting her hand infront of her mouth while chewing on the mac n cheese she stole from my plate.
"Of course you don't" Michael says while stealing iris's pasta now.
"Can you guys eat your own food, damn" I say while putting my arm over my food as a sheild.
"nope" Michael and Iris both say at the same time"
"JINX!" They said again at the same time.
"YOU OWE ME A STRAYKIDS ALBUM" Iris yelled.
"YOU OWE ME A TWICE CONCERT TICKET" Michael also yelled.
"WHAT I SAID IT FIRST" iris said.
"NAH MAN I DID, JANELE WHO SAID IT FIRST?" Michael asked.
"Mike did" i said wit a smirk knowing damn well iris did.
"HA SEE" Michael yelled in victory while doing some kind of dance.
"woooow is it because im black you pick michael?" Iris said acting offended.
"im black too... what" Michael said.
"are you accusing me of being racist because im asian?" i said while putting my hand agaisnt my chest acting offended.
"girl shut up" Iris said. And we all burst out laughing.

We were walking to our assignhed classes now.
"okay but mike if you think im getting you a twice concert ticket... your wrong mf i'm broke.
Michael just rolled his eyes. "mhm whatever, i'll see you guys after english" i say while waving off to them.
"SEE YA" Michael yells while Iris returns the wave.
