6:00am PEYTONS POV waking up early was my least favorite thing to do. But softball is my priority right now. And ofc my studies but still softball was a pain in my ass. If i quit i wouldn't have ANY other talent so i never did.Before my father died i told him i would play softball for ever. And now i feel guilty if i don't.. i have a game today at 7:30am I woke up and showered. put my uniform on. and brushed my teeth and hair. then i did my hair cute for the game

then got my crocs on and got my softball stuff and headed to the field.
well more like our facility but same thing all sports teams had to come to this game also family and friends! i was so excited to see my mom and little sister i was stretching then i got a call. it said joey🌸💗 my eyes widened and my heart started beating fast. Ofc i answered but was scared "hey peyton!" joe said with happiness in his voice "Hey joey i miss you sm" i said sadly " i miss you too pey" he said "Anywasy i have some really good and exciting new for you" joe said "okay spill!!" i said "two things..i got into LSU" he said super excited "WHAT OMG JOE IS THIS A JOKE OMG" "IM SERIOUS IM COMING NEXT WEEK!!!" he said tbh i saw this coming.But i was still so fucking excited! " OMG joe i'm so fucking proud" i said meaning it. " aww ilysm peyton" he said "oh another thing pey " he said "yeah?" i said "i'm coming to your game today !!" oh my fucking god. Who invited him im gonna be so nervous!!! " omg.. that's awesome joey!!" i said happy but scared " I'll see you in a little bye pey" he said "bye joey!"i said

peytons pov. JOE WAS GONNA BE THERE IM HELLA SCARED I MEAN CMON. anyway we were about to get on the field for warm ups. I saw so many fucking people coming to watch this game. We ran on the field and people were cheering and that's when i saw him.. joseph lee burrow... he's so...tall and kinda cute.. no peyton stop it now. I waved to him and he waved back. i was left handed so i played pitcher and first base. But today i had to play all pitcher.. i was nervous but excited.
we had done warm ups but we had to bat first so i got my batting gloves on and got my bat. and ofc my helmet. I was the 4th batter on the lineup. Yippe... i was watching pepper as she hit a home run.. I was so scared. i walked to where i need to be. I needed to calm myself down but that's when joe was coming down to talk to me."hey peyton you look good today" he said "tysm joe but i'm a nervous reck.." i said shyly. "cmon peyton you got this no matter what happens today i'm going to be proud of you i promise"he said "ty joe that made me feel like 100x better." i said. he winked and walked away. it was my turn to hit. i waited for the ball but soon realized it was headed for my ankle?? OH SHIT i tried to jumó but it hit my ankle bone and HARD. i was hurt.
joes pov: i was super excited to see her play,i knew she was good but didn't know how she was doing in the present. She was up to bat. i bit my lip at how good she looked in her uniform.. damn it joe stop it you know she doesn't like you. she watched the ball but it went for her ankle..??? UH OH SHES HURT. i ran down and waited by the dugout for her. she was limping. i felt so bad.
