Amidst the pattering rain lies the ruins of a burning Beacon academy. The once tall tower which, housed the headmaster, now stands in shambles. The complex clockwork beginning to rust away as the rain settles in the cracks and creases of the cogs. The hallways of the classroom having housed the laughter and conversations of hundreds who passed through now remained dead silent and fit only to resonate with the deep booms of thunder from the ensuing rainstorm. White Fang, Atlesian soldiers; both robotic and human, Beacon academy students, and Grimm flooded the courtyards. Some had been attempting to gain back what little ground was left and others wished only to spread chaos and fear rampant amongst this once shining beacon of hope. Despite all this, one entity stood out, it's posture resonated with the feeling of a calm before the storm. Many spared only a passing thought and thought the man or woman was foolish to appear with seemingly only a blade in hand and garb befitting that of a farmer in the deep forests of Mistral along with a straw hat completely encompassing the bearer's face leaving only the neck and mouth open to be exposed. The rain began to come down even harder, making even the gunfire of soldiers and students alike dim down. It, however, stood tall moving not an inch even as the rain created a flood around its helm. It was gone as fast as the apparition came, almost like lighting disappearing after its presence was made clear. Only brief glimpses of it were caught by the clashing sides as it passed through the crossfire. Both sides lessened their hales of bullets in wonder of whether this, thing, was brave or outright idiotic. Soon enough, Grimm and Androids obstructed its silhouette preventing man or faunas to see it. Everything remained dead silent with only the rain continuing to pour on as everyone looked on at the pile. Grimm and Androids alike kept still until one began to push forward and lunged at the Vagrant. Like the wind in a storm the beast was slain with only the sound of its now beheaded skull yelping in pain. One by one the Grimm charged fueled by the death of brethren to push on and one by one the Grimm fell failing to land even a strike. The androids escalated the situation and fired indiscriminately ensuing chaos. Like the Grimm, the androids fell until none were left.

The people looked on in awe of this feat but was soon cut short as officers and grunts of the White Fang attempted to kill it. Almost like a ghost or spectre it seemed as though the gunfire only fazed through it's body. Drawing ever closer they began to panic and disperse to gain distance but were only met with the same results as the wanderer calmly walked. The wanderer readied the blade and like lightning began to cut through the grunts and officers indiscriminate of their pleas and calls for help. The few minutes felt like hours to the onlookers seeing one man decimate a single division of soldiers with grace and power which they had never before seen. Soon the area of the courtyard calmed to a standstill as the silhouette wiped the blood from the blade on the fabric between the arm and bicep. Soldiers from Atlas readied their guns and aimed at the entity but contemplated whether he or she was friend or foe. The Vagrant stood straight and turned, looking on at people. The soldiers and students alike felt chills run through their body as if a ghost were gazing at them. The stare remained until the soldiers lowered their weapons out of fear for what might happen. The teams let out a collective sigh as it looked straight again commencing the same ritual of cleaning its blade. The wanderer made a trek through the mountains of corpses determined to arrive at its location. The moment was short lived as other areas of the school needed assistance and once the people turned their backs, he was gone.

The hallways which connected each other made way as the vagrant kept the hat firm on its head and walked through the area as if reminiscing of a time long past. The clack of sandals resounding in the empty halls. Stopping for but a moment in front of a class and peered through the window. The room lay dim only occasionally be seen with flashes of lightning. It played in the mans head with visions of once bustling classrooms and students looking down at the arena and the watchful gaze of teachers lost to time. With another strike of lightning the visions disappeared and the journey began once again. The rain continued on even more with no end in sight. The silhouette growing fainter and fainter as it made its way through the hall still not have spoken a word nor let out a breath. Similar to a robot and its movements so too was the man precise as each step taken with purpose and a blank stare was all that could be discerned. Leaving the hallway, it was soon met with rain once again and like before, the body had no reaction despite the chilling bite of the water on the skin. It stopped, looking down the hill as its eyes focused on the mess-hall of Beacon. The once proud and tall area layed desolate and reeked of despair. Three figures were seen in the distance with two fighting one. The clashes of swords and bullets boomed through the school and up to the hill the vagrant watched from. Its body moved once again and proceeded down the hill towards the trio. The two fighters appeared to be winded and drew short, shallow breaths while the other had yet to break a sweat. Quickening the pace the vagrant joined the fight as what would have been the finishing blow was instead the clashing of blades against one another. The man was decorated to inspire fear in his enemies with a abyssal black on his garb highlighted by the red accents of both his body and hair yet what stood out the most was the bone white mask he had don similar to his garb, so too was the mask accompanied by red details. The two swords remained against each other until the vagrant pulled back.

The Man in black remarked against the man and directed another at the woman clad in black and white. It payed no mind focusing only on it, the sword, and the mans body. The man and woman bickered back and forth pleading to the other but neither were moved by the others words as the two were far too lost in the moment to sense reason and strike. The other woman had collapsed from exhaustion and leaned against the other for support. Her garb noticeably different from her beige tops, purple bandana, orange undershirt, and most notable of all was the mass of bright sun like hair as it seemed messy either by choice or from the fight. The Vagrant looked back keeping his form straight and body tight. The man in red laughed and readied his blade. Everything remained silent until the man rushed forward intent on finishing the fight fast. It simply dodged and repeated it with each and every strike the man made. Seeing slash after slash miss enraged the man more until releasing a flurry of strikes and slashes. Parries and deflects had resonated and quickly tired the man in red. Seeing the opportunity it had slashed at the man in return, putting him on the retreat. The woman shouted to stop the attacks like a warning but they did not. After the quick strikes the man smiled and moved backwards positioning himself into a stance. The Vagrant kept still as its eyes met with mans mask as the man sheathed his blade. Suddenly he released a strike from the hilt sending forth a powerful burst of red energy. Time slowed a moment and it appeared as though the energy cut through even the droplets of rain. It tightened its stance with no fear apparent in the eyes. Ethereal arms formed from the mans back into motion striking a pose in the process signifying balance. The arms pushed forth against the energy wave sending it back to the man in red as time sped up. If one had blinked they would have missed it but the man fought against the wave struggling to keep his stance until he could bear it no longer. The man let up for a moment but was soon met with a sword pierced through his body. Almost as if his body had yet to process it the man looked at his killer seeing his face and the sword in his body. His murderer pulled the sword from the man as he fell to his knees. The blade was wiped clean and returned to the sheath as the man was still bewildered on how he was bested. The man was left on his knees until his final breath was drawn and he fell silent against the downpour. The Vagrant looked back at the two woman but noticed a significant problem. The woman of beige clothing knelt over the body of the other as a large gash was apparent across the chest of the woman in black. A split of energy had diverted from the rest and cut her while they were still fighting. The woman in yellow looked up at their would be savior as her eyes reflected not only sadness but also, anger. Her face contorted blaming the man. Insults were thrown of him being a coward, a failure, and weak. It held no emotions as it simply looked at the two. The one who was struck had not died but her injury remained as her breath was the only signifier to tell she wasn't dead. The girl continued to hurl insults at the vagrant until the back of its garb was facing the woman. She yelled louder and louder in anger as the form drew ever farther from the two eventually disappearing into the mist and rain as the once three figures moved in a fight for survival now only one remains screaming and weeping into the rainstorm.

Amidst the downpour lays the wanderer. It's silhouette surrounded on all sides by the ruins of the once proud Beacon academy and so too the Vagrant with No Form.
