Chapter 1 | Going Home

Author's Pov

It's been almost 3 years since Odin went home to London to visit his family.

It was May 5th, he booked a flight to fly from New york-London. He had 1 week to pack his belongings, until his flight.

Before he could start packing he streamed for a while.

"Hello Boys and Girls, we're just going to have a little talk, if you can't tell already. I haven't been streaming for a while. And it's because I needed some time for myself and I'm flying to London next week, so I need to pack my belongings."

The whole stream took less than an hour, until he ended the stream.

Time skip 5 days left till the flight

Odin's Pov

Incoming Call

"Hello Dude."

"Hey? What do you need?"

"I heard you're going home to london.. So is there a chance we can Ya knowww. Me-"

"Uhm sure, we can meet up but after a week or two I can have some time with my family." I said, I can already tell he wanted to meet up. He was always bugging me to visit him, meet up with him, he even asked me where I lived so he could fly to meet me.

"Great great, do you mind if-"

I sigh. "Yes, the others can come as well." I replied, I know he wouldn't go and meet me without his Girlfriend, and some of our stream buddies.

"You know me so well." He said before he hang-up.

I put down my phone and I started to clean parts of my apartment that won't be that used for the next 5 days till my flight.

I spent 3 days cleaning my apartment, it wasn't that big. 2 bedrooms, a kitchen-living room and a bathroom. It just took a long time because of my lazy self.

With 2 days remaining, I was bored. Nothing's to do. If I stream I would make a mess, rushing to get stuff, meaning ruining the organization I did.

1 day remains, i just remembered i haven't packed my clothes. So I quickly packed my stuff, i also brought my laptop for editing my videos during my flight.

"Wait, do I have a set up at mom's-?" I asked myself. Did I? I wasn't sure.

Calling Mom

She answered, "yes, dear?" She asked as she answered.

"Mom, do I have a set up for my streams in the house?"

"Let me check." She said and I could hear her footsteps walking upstairs where my old room was. "You do, but I think you're missing a keyboard and a mouse."

Ok, so I just needed a keyboard and a mouse so I could stream there. "Thanks mom! I'll be home the day after tomorrow." I said, I heard happy noises from her, I forgot that I haven't told her yet.

"As I was suspecting! Do you want me to pick you up from the airport?" She asked, knowing I was thinking of taking an uber. "Sure mom, I'll message you when I'm landing, since it's just going to be a 30 minute drive or something for you."

A few moments of me and my mom talking, she decided to ask- "do you have a girlfriend?" She always asks this everytime we call. "No mom, I won't be getting a girlfriend anytime soon. Plus if I did she would just probably use me for clout." I replied.

"Son, aren't you a faceless YouTuber/streamer..?"

"Yes mom, but-"

"It's fine, I just hope you can find someone soon to love you!" She said "Bye now, your dad is getting cranky for food" she teased, knowing my dad is listening to her talking to me. "By mom, bye dad!" I said ending the call.

Is there even a person meant for me, a person who won't use me for money, clout.

I was never picky when it comes to finding a girl, but as I gain my fans. I was slowly developing 'standards' for my dream girl.

I knew she needed to know how to respect my yt/streaming career, I needed her to not be a clout chaser nor a gold digger and my parents needed to like her.

I don't care about her looks, as long as she will respect me and my family and not use me nor cheat on me. I'm ok with it.

Thinking about my dream girl again huh. It has been a couple of hours, 12 hours until my flight. I needed sleep, but I could always sleep on the plane.

So I went to the kitchen, made some coffee to gain some more energy. If the coffee doesn't work, then I'll drink some energy drinks.

I watched some series on Netflix, giving me more energy to continue and watch and watch until i finished the whole series.

That took way longer than I expected. 3 more hours till the flight, I cleaned the dishes, organized the couch and turned off all the things needed to be off while I was away for who knows how long.

I went to get my bags, I went to the door, wore my shoes and called an uber to the airport. I waited for 10-15 minutes in the car, then it arrived. One step closer to home.

I uber-ed to the airport, now waiting for my flight. I was excited to go home, to see my family, meet up with Bry, our other friends and maybe his girlfriend, and maybe make some new friends while I was in london..
