Chapter 3 | Bookstore

Author's Pov

It was the next day, Odin woke up from his slumber, facing the bathroom door. He groaned before getting off the bed, and walk towards his desk.

"What time even is it." He mumbled to himself as he opened his phone, revealing a very bright light. "WHAT THE-" he yelled, it was too bright for his liking. It was 8am.

He continued to walk towards the bathroom.

Later on, after he brushed his teeth. He went downstairs, getting greeted by his Father.

"Ah, Zairon, My boy. How's life in California?"

Odin Pov

"Ah, Zairon, My boy. How's life in California?"

"Decently good, dad. How's taking care of Gerald?" I asked Talking about our Cat.

"Eh, Saddie was better." He replied. Saddie was our old cat who sadly passed away. How? Got hit by a Car, while we set him down, when we were exchanging bags to carry.

I talked with my dad for a few more minutes while eating, before i thought of going out to explore some parts of London.

"Mom, Dad. Im going out, want anything..?" I asked, the two replied with a no.

Now, I walked out of the house, deciding if i should take a cab or walk. I decided i should walk, just in case a store catches my eye.

Author Pov

Odin kept walking around the streets of london, he has passes 5 stores. Non of them catched his eye.

As he walk and walk, he saw a store, a book store to he exact. "Book n Quills" the store named sounded like it was from a movie or something.

The line outside the door was long, longer than its emergency line when customers can't enter or the store is full.

He wondered what the commotion was, he took a look inside the store. It wasn't a line to enter, it was a line to get autographs from the city's local writer.

Mal A.'s Pov

It was the day I have to sign my new book to my local fans. Its entitled "lost love". Once i published it, plus its copies. People came in and out of this very store. Just to get a copy of the book.

I kept signing and signing the books that was placed down to get autographed. Until the door opened, a specific blonde catches my eye.

I got a feeling he wasn't here to get a booked sign. Since he just entered and not waited in the line.

He walked towards the counter where Selena was, the two talked. Until Selena walked towards me.

"The blonde dude asked what's the book about. And why is it so popular. Do you think he could borrow your own copy of your book?" She whispered to my ear, not wanting the person in front of me hearing our conversation.

"well sure, i guess. If you think he would be interested in my book." She nodded and took the book, and wrote some notes and placed it in between the back cover and the last page of the book.

Odin's Pov

"So all of the line was for her to sign the copy of the book they got?" I asked the red head behind the counter.

"Yes, do you want to borrow a copy? And maybe read the book. So you can understand the popularity of it?" She asked. I nodded, she went to the blonde girl with indigo hair tips and whispered something on her ear.

A few moments of them talking the went back to me, holding a copy of the girl's book. She wrote something, i couldn't see. Then she gave me the book. I thanked her, and left the store.

I took a moment to see what she wrote in the paper. It was a number of the store, and the her number. I didn't think much of it.
