you look like a future mrs. hamada, take care
of hiro for me, will you?
𝓟recisely two days, three hours, and forty-eight minutes later—it was the night before the bogus date, or otherwise known as the conjunction with aunt Cass. It felt eerily fallacious to Gogo to even call it a date because it just certainly isn't a date, she had convince herself an unhealthy amount of times that she doesn't even like him, let alone tolerate. If you make Gogo choose which Hamada brother she'll save from a fire, she'd choose Tadashi in a nanosecond that's how much she's irked by him, but deep down. Right this moment. She reminisces at eleven o'clock of the distress Hiro had done this whole week, as much as she hates to concur with the little voice in her head. It was true, Hiro had caused her a couple of quandaries ever since the second she laid her eyes on him. But the realization struck her like a startling epiphany, He did all of those with pure intentions.
"..Because he— likes? Me?" She incoherently whispered to herself, her voice sounded like someone else's, she couldn't believe that she's coming to terms with this.
"Nah." She argued to herself trying not to wake her roommate up, Gogo looked over at the blonde tall girl who's in a questionable position. Honey Lemon snored loudly in her deep N-REM slumber.
Honey Lemon, for the most. has been the reason why Gogo was unable to catch some z's. But tonight it seems like Honey Lemon wasn't the reason why the violet streaked girl is up late. She was anxious, her thoughts were running a mile a minute. What if this is a prank? What if she doesn't like me? But yet again, if it was true. That all of this is happening, she shouldn't really care much because she isn't really Hiro's girlfriend.
But there's one way to confirm her disquietude and lack of certainty.
She gingerly shifted to her side, cautiously not making her bed creak—her hands reached for her cellphone and couldn't believe what she's about to do. Text Hiro Hamada.
Her fingers rapidly typed 'Hey are you up?' All she needs is to hit the send button, but she couldn't bare to do it, her finger felt like it was in a paralyzed state. She was having a dilemma with her pride and ego whether she should send this first initiative. She doesn't know if she should as of now because her relationship with Hiro is somewhere between black and white. Gray. She wouldn't even consider themselves as friends, but she's willing to offer him frienship if he decides to finally drop the act.
She's been staring intently at the text it could burn a hole through her phone, she deleted the message and sighed, she couldn't do it.
Just when she's about to turn her phone off and call it a night, she saw the three dots fluctuate on his end of the chat bubble, this made her question Was he waiting for my text?! Was he going to text me too? Now she's wondering how long has he been on their empty text-box. Instead of getting her previous questions answered, a herd more flood her mind.
