>Azur lane Flotilla - 3rd POV<

A Shadow move across the water in pursuit, behind it a Fleet of steel ships cutting the water surface in half as they rock with the waves, on them, are the Kensen's, all are ready for the Attack. Or. The Massive Naval Rescue.

And on one of the ships, USS Independence, was Independence herself, looking at the massive fleet in-front of her ship, she was sitting on the edge of her flight deck, smiling like there is no tomorrow.

"You look happy." a voice said behind her as sounds of metallic boots hitting the her steel flight deck reach her ears.

Shocked, Independence jump and stood before turning around to face her guest "Ah!-" to her surprise, it was HMS Belfast.

"Belfast!" Independence said in shock as the said maid giggled.

"May I ask. why were you smiling?" Belfast ask the Carrier who look shocked and confused by the maids question.

Bel, realizing what she did quickly corrected before any misinformation was spread across the fleet, "Sorry, I mean to ask, are you excited about the mission?" she ask again, making sure her words are clear.

Staring at the Maid, Independence didn't realized that she was staring at her for the duration of Bel re-asking the question. Shaking her head quickly, she then answered the question.

"I- Yes! I'm Excited! I get to go on a mission with everyone!" Independence shouted nervously as she rise her had into a salute.

Bel giggled before waving goodbye to the carrier who is still shocked at the encounter.

>Unknown island near Sakura islands<

The buzzing of the propellers echoed across the island as the two A6M Zero's did another low fly by. A figure immediately moved out of view before darting their way to the clock tower at the middle of the island like place.

"A city used to be here, but after the Siren attack, it was abandoned as humans go deeper inland to avoid the siren onslaught." Mikasa said with a hint of disappointment in her voice, humanity lived in a life full of war, but, it come with times of peace as well. But now, it is in a constant state of war, both on it self and it's main enemy.

"Not to worry Lady Mikasa, we will defeat the Sirens and Azur lane." Takao suddenly said as she walks up to the old ship. Mikasa sighed again, more disappointed.

"What's the point of this is we only weaken our selves and let the Sirens wipe us?" She ask the cruiser who look at the battleship in confusion.

"Only one faction can protect humanity. That's us, the Sakuren Empire." She said with a hint of confusion in her voice. Mikasa turn to the Cruiser before speaking.

"Let me tell you of a time when we Kensen's didn't exist." Mikasa then went on, on about the past, and how her memories of the old times when she saw her old form, her ship form before it got scrapped.

>Azur lane Assault fleet<

Everyone was ready to fire, they are nearing the enemy formations.

"Everyone, remember the plan, as we engage in a artillery trade with the Sakuren, the rescue squad will go in and extract both of them from their and then we get out." Enterprise explained summing up the plan to everyone who shouted "Yes ma'am".

"And Independence, please stay safe." The Ghost turn to the said carrier who nodded with a confident smile. Smiling back Enterprise then looked back to everyone, "DISMISS! EVERYONE TO YOUR STATIONS!" she shouted as everyone left to their respective ship without trouble.
