I hope you all enjoy this final chapter of "A Lost Ship in the Azur World" it has been a wild ride, from starting this story back in... 2021...? I haven't been keeping track of when I post stuff since I may change them later.

But anyway, right now, after a full year (or so) of this story running, I hope that you all enjoy it, from my almost crappy writing to now.

Ah, seventy words already, I should start the chapter now. See you at the post-story notes!

> > Project Orichi.

An A6M Zero-looking plane flew by at sub-sonic speed, completely startling the two Kitsunes.

"Akagi! Kaga! I want to speak with both of you!" A feminine voice all too familiar to the two shouted, scaring them. How did she..?! Was Akagi's thoughts but were cut off as the guns of the massive ship fired, sending specialized shells at the familiar girl.

"Zuikaku?!" Kaga shouted, finally snapping back to reality from her shock.

"Good day senpai!" Zuikaku shouted happily with a hint of blood lust under her words, "I came back to inform the both of you of something!" She explained, but the two carriers know, she wants to chat about the events that happened a little while ago.

Kaga looked at her sister, unsure of what to do, but Akagi slowly came back and cancel the order to fire, letting the used to be Sakuren carrier on the Orichi.

"While I and my sister was stuck at the battlefield, we both got intel on the Azur Lane's new ship," Zuikaku explained showing the two a picture, of a giant ship, bigger than the Sakurens Yamato class ships.

"It is named Davao, after the used to be city territory of the Eagle union, city of Davao in the Philip Union."

Akagi nodded slightly, more intrigued by the picture and the ship it shows than the threat that is the carrier in front of her.

"With the carrying capacity greater than that of the largest carriers in the Empire's fleet, You should be more worried about it joining this battle senpai."

Akagi let the words sink as she inspect the picture, it was unusually high quality, and very smooth, where did her kohai get this?

"Zuikaku, I very much appreciate that you came back to warn us, but-" before the kitsune could utter another word, a loud shrieking noise roared as many of the escorting siren ships were destroyed as an 'A6M ZERO J' speed past above them.

"Wha-" but the snow-white kitsune was blasted back, Akagi then look over to the source and saw another white hair, wielding a compact bow.

"Shoukaku?!" Her surprised tone is like music to the bow user's ears, she then pulls back on the string and another batch of magenta arrow-like energy beams fly from her.

The Red Kitsune growls before stepping aside and letting the arrow pass her.

"You. You are supposed to be dead!" Her voice, raging with the sudden anger of her plans being interrupted, roars as her eyes sharpen into a thin diamond.

"A mere thought of us being alive anger you, dear senpai?" Shoukaku's soft voice, filled with unnoticeable rage, remarked as she pulls back the string again. "Or is it that we interrupted your precious time with your sister?"

Akagi's growls became tenser, her irises grows sharper and thinner. The massive ship she is standing on reacted, its weapons turning to the silver crane.

A battle cry roared as the weapons of the Orichi soon followed, and beams of red flew across the sky impacting Shoukaku's location.

Akagi smiled, believing that she had won.
