SELENA'S POV:
Starring at my reflection in the Mirror I looked deep into my bright blue eyes that once held happiness now hold nothing but emptiness for the last few years . I lost both of my parents at once
My mom was a vampire not just any vampire but a pure blood and my dad was a werewolf they fell in love with each other then went against nature and had me , they created a hybrid but not just any hybrid you see since my mom was a pure blood she had a power every pure blood did and that's wad made them better than normal vamps my mom's power was special she could boil one 's blood without touching him since I was her daughter I inherited it from her , that's what made then come after us , my parents tried their best to hide me and they succeeded in till my 12 th birthday it was at night time when it happened we were on the run I didn't really understand that much but my mom told my dad that she had a feeling that something bad was gonna happen and that we should get moving and that's exactly what happened we were resting near a like in the middle of the woods , I don't really remember the faces of the ones who attacked us but I do remember the tattoo that my parents murderer , my parents fought them long enough for me to run in to the woods I didn't want to but my mom made me she told she loved me unconditionally and then I ended to keep running and never look back no matter what and that's exactly what I did I've been on the run since I was twelve you probably are wondering how I survived it wasn't easy but you see my parents taught me enough the left me a loaded bank account before I ran away I grabbed my bag it it held my bank account's password a passport and all kinds of things I needed I was pretty smart for a twelve year old but I managed I went to a small town in California and settled there with my uncle that helped me get through it you see I was sure that my parents died because every supernatural family has a bond I senses their death it was like a piece of me was ripped away .
Unfortunately for me my uncle pat away due to a car accident i was 16 at the time he wasn't able to heal for he was just a human .
After his death I decided that I already went through so much pain so I just flipped off my humanity switch i was able to do it because I was a half vampire , it was fine by me it helped me survive i never socialized with people after , most of them tend to get scarred because of me and I liked it that way ,
Nobody dares to bullshit me even taught they didn't know about my power they knew I was hybrid and that enough made them terrified of me .
I don't know why I still want to live for I have no purpose for living but I guess it's my half wolf side the keeps me going my wolf Leilani tells me it would be okay and that once we find our mate he will make all the pain go away .
But I'm not sure if I want a mate because I can't afford to lose him.
