Black.... To light....
The wind was blowing, everything seemed so warm and the skies were white, the grass as well. The trees around us a light shade of brown and the pink flowers, as pink as ever. She sat in front of me, cupping my face with her hands. "I have a secret Shadow, but you gotta promise you won't tell anybody." I gazed deeply into her eyes as she spoke. I nodded as a yes to her previous statement.

And she spoke...

I shot up immediately. Blood stains on the rooftop I was laying on. I got up and walked to the edge of the building, looking down upon the destruction I had caused. "You get a wonderful view from the point of no return." I pulled out a cigarette and my lighter, best smoke I've ever had. So I plotted and my next destination was Tails workshop.

Amy POV

Eyes flutter open as I take a good look around I stomped my feet at the ground at the sight of the giant wolf standing right in front of me. "You awake?" He asked and I just sat there with a mad look on my face. "You're not gonna get away with this!" I yelled waiting for an awnser but he just walked to his station and started sharpening a knife. A heavy swallow fell over my throat to the sight.
"You're not gonna hurt me with that...Are you?!" He slowly walked towards me and crouched down. "No, my last intentions are to hurt you, if I have to, I will, but for now." He slid the knife under my chin and looked me in the eyes. And with a savage yet lovely look in his eyes he asked. "Where would your husband be if I may ask?" I squirmed to get out of the chair. "Please let me go, I can't help you with that." With sympathy in his eyes he looked at me. "Well, I can't do that for you." He removed the knife from my throat and so I stopped squirming. "But! What I can do."

Bang! Alarms started going off, the room flickering with a red light. He grabbed me and the chair and ran outside. The light blinding me almost, greeted with the sight of helicopters surrounding the building. I looked into his eyes as he ran and for what felt like a minute was only a second. He quickly put me down. I started to look around frantically as the choppers were approaching us along with vehicles all painted in pitch black. He remained calm as he forcefully threw me in the backseat of a buggy and left off. "W-what's going on?!" "Just keep quiet I need to concentrate!" I managed to sit up straight by grabbing one of the door handles. A helicopter was flying right above us. "Who are these people?" He made a hard left turn that caused me to fall over and hit my head against the floor.... Out like a light.

Walking, walking, walking....
He looked up at the sky and immediately shot his snout back down. Walking, walking, walking.

I felt a cold sensation on my forehead.
"Shadow, Shadow c'mon Shadow I know you'll make it."

I woke up with a wet peice of cloth on my forehead. My eyes open slowly as I sit up straight. "Greetings." I jumped to the sight of an elderly, female wolf. "Oh I'm sorry, did I scare you?" I looked to my left to see a dissapointed look on the male wolves face, unable to look up. The elderly woman had a bunch of tribal signs and animal teeth all over her body, necklaces and braces. Her movement slow and calm. "I see you've finally found a love interest Max." "No, it's not like that." I shot at her. "Oh then how is it then?" She asked with a smile forming on her face. Max covered his face halfway and gave me a death stare. So I decided it would be best to keep quiet. He removed his hand and looked at his mother. "The situation is complicated old mother." She looked at me and him and then she shot back at him. "Such a brave, wolf saving a young lady from harms way." He just shook his head. "Yes mother that's what happened." I looked at him and smiled. "Yes that's what happened." I got up from my bed and walked towards the the old lady sitting in a old wooden chair. "My name is Amy Rose and what might your name be." The old woman looked up at me and smiled. "I go by the name of Saint Pengues the gray wolf." I turned around to see an enormous wolf staring down at me, with his teeth sticking out. "Who is this person!?" I trembled for the possible outcome and he just pushed me out of the way. "Son is that you?" He grabbed his Max and started tossing him around like a baby up and down. Absolute joy filling his deep voice. "I missed you so much my son Haha!" He gave him a tight hug and slowly put him down. "So I see you've brought yourself a bride!" The father nocked his son on the head and looked at me. I just stood there and looked back at the elderly woman, she was no longer in her seat. "Food is ready." "FOOD!" The father and son yelled as they were already on their way. I was sitting on my bed trying to gather myself and adapt to the situation. Max had already forgotten about me. "Maybe I can." I was interrupted by the elderly woman sitting next to me. "Come, make yourself at home." I looked at her and sighed. "If in our daily life we can smile, if we can be peaceful and happy, not only we, but everyone will profit from it. This is the most basic kind of peace work." I just blinked twice and got up.

And so we had dinner. At the table forgetting the fucked up situation and, just thinking..." What a lovely family."
