The decision was made. The newborn army would be in Forks in four days. With a battle looming near, the Cullen vampires and the Quileute wolves formed an alliance to eliminate the army and the threat to the human residents of Forks.
In a room in the Cullen's large house stood seven vampires, three wolves and one human while the distant sounds of music could be heard from the party still going on downstairs. The meeting was coming to an end, the wolves agreeing to come to an understanding with their mortal enemies much to the dismay of the one human in the room. Her arguments went ignored as the wolves exited the room with the promise of a meeting to train together soon.
In the corner of the room stood Jasper Hale, who was deep in thought. The Cullen's needed all the help they could get, and he knew just the person that could help them with the newborn army. "I need to make a call," Jasper announced to the room before pulling his phone out of his back pocket and walking out the room without a backwards glance.
The smallest vampire in the room, Alice Cullen, was about to question Jasper on who he would be calling. But before she could utter the words, she let out a small gasp, went suddenly still and her eyes glazed over; she was having a vision. All the vampires in the room noticed this of course, having been used to Alice having visions over the many years they have all lived together and they all turned to her, nervous about what she could be seeing.
Glowing red eyes, a beautiful face framed in long, wavy ginger hair, red wisps of energy coming out of hands, two pale hands intertwined, red eyes gazing into topaz ones, a feeling of overwhelming love between them. Alice came out of her vision with a gasp, blinking a few times in shock.
"Alice what is it?" Carlisle Cullen asked with slight worry. Suddenly Alice's whole face lit up with excitement at what she saw. "What's going on?" Jasper had re entered the room, confused at the strong emotions of happiness and excitement he felt coming off of the small vampire as everyone else in the room stared at her. "Alice's mate is coming," Edward, the mind reader answered for her with a smile.
