"My birthday's tomorrow, I'm so excitedddd" Mia said while finishing her schoolwork online. "What are you going to do for your birthday" said Kalia.
"Nothing, I've never done anything on my birthday besides get into an argument with my mom" said Mia, getting a little irritated just thinking about it. "What makes you think that y'all are going to argue?" said Kalia.
"It happens every year it's like a tradition at this point, she finds something to argue about with me" said Mia. "That makes no sense, it's your birthday you're supposed to be able to enjoy it completely" said Kalia.
"I mean yeah but we got into an argument year 12,13,14 and if she's kept it going that long it'll happen this year when I turn 15" said Mia. "Well, I'm sorry but you shouldn't have to go through that" said Kalia. "Yeah, I know but that's my life" said Mia.
"What would you like to do for your birthday?" said Kalia. "I would probably just wanna have fun with my friends, maybe go skating, or to the trampoline park" said Mia. "You should ask your mom and she might let you celebrate with us" said Kalia.
"Yeah, Nah I know my mom so I'm not asking that for her to say "When have we ever celebrated birthdays" it's pointless so I'ma just leave it" said Mia. "You should come back to our school" said Kalia.
"I want to but I don't live the school zone any more, it's like every neighborhood around mines is in zone but not mines which makes no sense" said Mia. "Yeah, it doesn't, oh, Corben said hi" said Kalia. "Corben, who?" said Mia, knowing who Kalia's talking about but wanting to clarify. "Corben Pitts" said Kalia.
"As in the same guy, I told I liked him and then run away. As in the same guy who avoided me til I left the school, THAT CORBEN" said Mia. "Yes" said Kalia. "Oh, um, tell him I said hey" said Mia nervously. "Hey, I'll text you tomorrow, okay?" said Mia. "K" said Kalia.
Mia goes into her kitchen and gets some snacks then returns to her room. "I think I still like him, fuck, it's been a year though. I can't still like him, impossible" said Mia, speaking her thoughts aloud into the mirror. "He was cute though, and we were best friends before I told him I liked him so it wouldn't hurt getting his number from Kalia" said Mia. "Monday, I'll text Kalia to ask for his number" said Mia.
