"What the hell is happening?"

I was deep in thought when I received a phone call from Kazutaro telling me that Cifuyu had been attacked by someone. I rushed to the hospital and asked him what had happened.

Cifuyu has a sad expression on. I thought it was because of no news of Takemichi where when he suddenly gave us both unexpected news.

"Takemichi... he is the one that did this... ." He said in a lower voice. I would like to say I don't believe it but seeing Cifuyu like this how can he lie?

"Takemichi? Why? I thought you guys were close." Kazutaro ask. Yes, why would Takemichi do this to Cifuyu? The first person to know about Takemichi's secret before us.

Cifuyu looks out the window before turning to us and explaining what had happened.

Kazutora and I are both in utter shock. We can't believe what we heard.
"Draken... do you think partner did kill Naoto?"

I was more shocked when Cifuyu out of all people said those things.

"Come on Cifuyu. Why would he do that? To get himself in trouble?" I try to calm Cifuyu's mind which might be playing the same scene of an earlier encounter between him and his partner.

I decide to leave the hospital after a few hours. I still can't believe what just happened. I'm afraid that he is also going to change.

I walk down the street. I don't know what to do. My mind went blank. Until I receive a call from Hina, Takemichi's lover.

"Hello?" I heard her voice. I greet her back. She then asked me where am I.
"Ah, I just came back from visiting Cifuyu. Why?" I ask her back. She seems like she has something to say.

"Just said it, Hina," I said and the woman started to take a deep breath before started speaking.

"1 year. Takemichi tells me to wait for 1 year." That is all it takes for me to stop on my track.

"Sorry, what?" I asked her again to confirm what I heard.
"4 days ago, I met him. He tells me to wait for 1 year. I don't know if I should tell you guys so I wait for a bit. Since there is no call from anyone I guess I'm the only one who knows." She continues.

I was sweating with what I heard. 1 year is a long time. Why does he need us to wait 1 year?

"Thanks Hinata. Then you should follow his word, okay?" I reassure her that it's better to listen to him. Then we end our call.

Of course, I'm not going to listen. I decide to meet him. I have no other choice but to use Cifuyu ways. The underworld.

Once you were getting involved with the underworld you better watch your back. Anyone can be sent to kill you. Unlike Cifuyu who got information from them, I just walked around there. I believe if there is a place Takemichi is going to go then it is the underworld.

And it seems like I'm right.

After a few days of involving myself, I find him. The one I have been looking for. He was on top of the building of a single house on a street.

"You look different," I said which coughed the other off guard. He then turned around and looked at me with wide eyes. Seem like he didn't expect me.

"Draken? Why are you here?" He asks. I could hear the concern in his voice.
'Why im here? Are you kidding me?' I curse at him in my head.

We both have a starting content. No one said a word. Until Takemichi broke the long silence.

"Do you really wanna see Emma so bad?" Hearing those words gives me goosebumps. I walked closer to him and just like that he was sent flying to the side.

I did it. I punch him right in the face. I look at him starting to get back to his feet.

"Next time, don't talk about Emma, Takemitchy," I said to him. But all I see is just him smiling to himself with the blood dripping from his mouth.

"Hahhhh... ." He sighs out loud. He looks like an insane person right now. He then turned back to look at me using his hand to wipe the blood off his mouth.

"That is quite a punch, Draken." He said. I just look at him as he continues his word.

"I never expect to see you here. No. You are the last person I expect to see here, in the underworld." He said while smiling at me.

"I could say the same to you. Because of his death, you decide to become a criminal or something?" I asked him as anger could be heard from my voice.

But then I heard something. Something that I would like to say it was just a nightmare. I heard a gun click and I saw it was pointing right at me.

"Ahhh so Cifuyu said the truth," I said which caught the black hair guy's attention.

"Oh? Did you visit him?" He asks. But for some reason, it sounds like a joke to him. This guy who can't even lay a punch on someone directly without getting hit also dares to use a dangerous weapon and point it toward his once-called friends.

"You hurt Cifuyu." It was more like a statement. I mean like I would like to hear it was just a joke.

"Drak- Ken." He calls my name. This makes our eyes meet once again.
"1 year okay. Just that much I ask from you." With that being said he put his gun back down and walked away ready to leave. But I'm not done yet with my word.

"The hero falls to the peak of darkness. Who is going to save the hero? Us who is in debt with you." I said but he didn't turn around or even stop. I just stood where I had been standing until I decided that my mission was complete.

1 year is a long time. He makes me wonder what he is trying to do. For him to involve himself with the underworld. God, please don't make these two fight each other.

I could only pray to god for his help. But without realising it, there is someone that been watching me and Takemichi.

I see Draken going up the stairs toward Takemichi. I wanna stop him but I can't reveal myself. Not yet. I'm not someone who will listen to other conversations if it was involved with Takemichi. So I just wait for them to finish.

After a 20-minute-long talk, I saw Takemichi make his way down the stairs. He was walking down the alley as I followed from far behind.

It was almost a month since I followed him but I still didn't dare to get too close. He is involved in the underworld so I decided to keep our distance much closer than before.

I also don't know what he has been doing. How did he get money? How did he survive? I was always follow but I still can't find the answer to the question.
