The day that Finnailias first royal heir was to be born was here: thousands of people gathered around the castle celebrating with music, dancing, drinking, and good food all waiting anxiously for the baby's arrival. Finally, it happened. Finnailias newest princess, Adhara.

People brought gifts such as jewels and flowers for Queen Naylia, the finest weapons for King Stefen, and homemade rattles, blankets, and clothing for baby Adhara. This was a day never to be forgotten.

After the celebrations of Adharas birth and the kingdom rested, King Stefen and Queen Naylia were greeted by seven counsel members dressed in long, red velvet robes, with a golden triangle and arrow running through the center of it on their robes. The Court of Magic.

The councilman in the center stepped forward, taking a bow, as the rest followed, "Your highness." The man stood straight up again. "What business do you have with us, counsel men?" Steffen asked.

"Your highnesses," the small counsel men with black hair stepped forward, "as you may know, we are here on account of the princess Adhara to conduct whether or not she wields any magic that is able to uphold her royal status." He paused.

"Right, of course." Stefen motioned his hand towards Adhara. The seven counsel men shifted over to Adharas crib, "Stefen," Naylia whispered, "what if something goes wrong?"

"Nothing will go wrong, Naylia." Stefen said. "Your highnesses," the main counsel men spoke, "you cannot be present during this time, we need a place without outside magic interfering," he paused, "including you both."

"Very well." Stefen agreed, "Naylia. Let us excuse ourselves and let the councilmen do their business." Clasping Naylia's hand, Stefen led Naylia from the Throne Room. "Stefen unhand me." Naylia pulled her hand from his grip, "I wish to be in there with our child." Naylia turned to go back into the room,

"Naylia, no." Stefen grabbed Naylia's hand, "we cannot interfere with the process." Stefen stooped to Naylia's eye level, "I want to be there too, but this is what's best for Adhara." He paused, "Don't you want to give her the best chance she has at proving her worth?"

Naylia's head dropped and the colors in the room started fading. "Yes.. I know that it's for the best but still, I'm scared for her." Stefen embraced her in a tight hug, "I am too."
