Young Love Is Alright

In The Park

After school had finished we decided to rebel against our parents an go to the park and not go straight home like they told us to.
We ran about and climes one of the trees in the forest. It was the tallest and the widest of them all and, of course we climbed to the top.
We had got as far as the tree without letting the branches snap and make us fall to our deaths.
"So, what brings you to our school?" I asked when I finally caught my breath.
Taz hadn't quite caught his yet but managed to speak. "Well." I uttered. "My parents moved from my old town because my dad got new work, he says it's going to bring some more money in so yeah!"
"Nothing special like bullying then?" I asked.
"No! This isn't like a movie where everything's about how someone's sad or something!" He answered. We laughed and then had a long conversation about movie clichés.
It was fun spending time in the park, every time I looked at him I got this warm feeling in my chest. I wanted to just pounce on him and start making out! But I'm not that much of a perv, and even if that wasn't taboo I think I would have the guts!
Anyway it was fun, I can't wait for tomorrow. It's going to be Saturday and I'm going to ask Taz if he wants to hang out. That will be fun.
