might look a bit cursed when i try and do a forward facing angle on anything that isn't human, but I'm more then happy to try anything in terms of art. for context, i posted a "WoF Smash or pass" on another website and great scot was that a long 9 pages. the way i did it was pure breeds of the tribe first and then all it's crossbreeds.
here's a bit of a headcannon i have with crossbreeds, it is very rare for 2 to get dragonets with a blend of the 4 tribes they are made up of. if there's 2 then you'll get a sort of randomized combination of aspects from their parents(I.E Mudwing/Rainwing x Seawing/Silkwing will produce dragonets with possible Mud/Silk or Rain/Sea traits with barley noticeable hints of the other 2).
another headcannon, dragonets with traits of 3 tribes are vary rare. even if one parent is a crossbreed, genetics wouldn't allow conflicting things like fire breath with ice breath.
