 Now that I have found these two Phans with such beautiful writings and creative minds, I need to get out of my shell and start my book. This way, we can enjoy each other's stories and perhaps hopefully inspire each other's creativity. Thank you for writing such fun and unique one-shots, Cheychey26 and immapascalalorian!!

The club has been silent for the past 20 minutes. The air is stifling, so much so that it can probably choke someone to their demise. Tensed seniors are gambling their lives away by playing the death game with the roulette of destiny, which is being displayed on the projector. The juniors are terrified down to their spines. They watch and pray for the best. Even the cats that had been the theatre's familiar are scared.

When they finally settled and agreed with one another, a representative spun the roulette of fate. No one could contain their happiness as tears of joy formed on their face when the arrows pointed to a specific tile. The text that is immediately shown by the roulette wheel shows the title of the play;

"Phantom of the Opera"

Everyone immediately picked their favourite characters to play with. Astonishingly, almost every cast got what they wanted without the World War 3 outbreak known as the rock-paper-scissors battlefield.

Every character role has two people playing, both men and women. It has become a tradition in the theatre club to launch a single title for the whole year. Each semester plays both the original musical play and the gender-bent retelling. As suggested by the seniors, it is hardly a thing anyone would miss.

To celebrate their lucky stars, every member of the theatre started building the iconic mirror. The passageway mirror was only used once by the Phantom to kidnap Christine. The very object which marked the start of disastrous events throughout the story. The glorious mirror that allows him to communicate with her.

With intricate design and polished glimmers, every piece of art is poured to perfection. From the details of decorative sculpture to the mechanics of the mirror. The secretive two-way glass that reflects the figures as likely a mirror does. However, the mirror is also a see-through glass that allows another person from behind the mirror to look directly at the person on the other side. Everything is made with care. This mirror project took almost a week to finish, but to them, it is a true masterpiece that allows them to work with love.

Times passed, and weeks turned into months. The mirror was then left by the stage, secured between a makeshift wall for the Prima Donna's room. A sense of animism attached, or one would say, "the mirror... It has the actual soul of the Phantom to watch over us as we worked to the bones for perfection, to capture our sincerity for the events that happened millennia ago." As though they would look in the mirror and occasionally smile at it, they failed to realize the magic in it. None realized and would know how to explain its mystery.

One day when the time is near, around their 3rd rehearsal in the weeks, (Your name) finally discovers the magic when they stare at the mirror while fixing their costumes. Sheets of white began embracing the theatre, enveloping it with warmth. From that day, their disastrous story begins...
