Kind Words (Toge Inumaki)

Chapter Four

This chapter is extra long. So uhh be prepared. It was originally about 1300 words it's a little over 2000 now because when I was writing the next chapter I decided that the beginning fit better as an ending for this chapter! Enjoy! We're almost to the end of JJK 0! The next chapter will probably be the last JJK0 one then it's on to the anime! I like to think the above picture is Gojo And Satsuki.

I handed Toge his throat medicine and he took a sip from it to calm the upcoming sore throat that was sure to follow. We turned to leave since this is the only reason we were coming here anyway.

"Oh that's right, we're done," Yuta said.

"Tuna mayo," Toge croaked out, his voice still hoarse.

"Drink more throat medicine Toge, if that doesn't help I'll heal you later," I said, giving him a small smile speeding ahead to the veil. Toge shook his head, giving me a small smile of his own. I went to head out of the veil, but I crashed directly into it falling back on my butt. "Ow! What the hell? Why can't we get out?" I turned my head to face the other two when all of a sudden another curse showed up behind them but this curse... was at least a grade one.

"Zomba," it said. A light appeared where I was standing and I shoved the two out of the way before jumping back myself.

"Blackened sight" I said and watched as the curses eyes rolled over with a black glow.

"Satsuki! Inumaki!" Yuta yelled,

"Get twisted," Toge said, but it only ended up twisting his arm. My best guess is that it was because we were told it would only be low-level curses; he didn't put much energy behind his words. He fell to the ground coughing

"Yuta, get Toge out of here! I'll handle it," I said, pulling my scythes from their holsters on my sides. Yuta dragged Toge away as ordered albeit hesitantly.

I could use shattered sight, but that probably wouldn't do much, this curse isn't thinking hardly at all, all I could see in its mind was 'attack what I see' which is unusual since usually a higher grade has somewhat cognitive thoughts that I can tangle with it, but it's as though this one's being heavily controlled. I dodged several shots of light once my blackened sight wore off. I decided to use control since it was one of the only offensive moves I knew at the moment, and I twisted its arms all the way around like Toge did earlier but held them there so the monster couldn't heal. I poured cursed energy into my scythes and threw one end at it, slicing off one of its arms, but Yuta showed up, and I had to pull it back so he wouldn't get injured. He ran at the curse, slicing it diving for Toge's throat medicine that was under the curse.

"Inumaki!" He yelled, throwing him his throat medicine. I continued to stare at the curse without blinking so neither one of them had to worry about getting any bodily injuries.

Toge caught his medicine taking a large swig of it yelling, "Get crushed!" and it did. I finally blinked, but when I did my eyes were screwed shut because I went too far beyond my limit, and I could feel the small strips of blood running down my face like tears. I wouldn't be able to see for a while.

"Mustard leaf?!" Toge yelled to Yuta and I.

"Yeah I'm alright, I'd be more worried about Satsuki though her eyes are bleeding," Yuta said.

"Salmon," Toge said, and I heard a slap. I could only imagine he gave Yuta a high-five, good I'm glad that he's not scared of Toge anymore.

Toge came over to me, "you alright? You had me worried when you sent both of us away. You can't always try to take everything on your own you dummy," he slapped my head gently.
