Firstly, plug in the nearer to your router for a smoother and quicker WPS connection.When the power LED on the extender turns amber it implies it is ready for setup.Ensure that the switch on the extender is towards Extender.Press the WPS on the Netgear Ex7300 extender.Hit WPS on the router or your main Wi-Fi unit in around one minute.Then it shows the flickering light on both the devices, if the light stops it implies Netgear extender is configured.
Note: – Ensure that disconnect the Ethernet cable before resetting the extender.
To Setup your Netgear EX7300 as an Access Point:Firstly, Connect your router using an Ethernet cable to any accessible Ethernet ports of your EX7300.Secondly, Use your Wi-Fi network manager on your wireless PC or any Wi-Fi device to connect to the NETGEAR_EXT network.After that, Once connected, the Device to Extender LED will turn to solid green.Then, Open your web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome.Enter or 192.168.1.250 in the location bar of your web browser.Then, Click NEW EXTENDER SETUP.
Finally, Click Next to complete the setup.
