"Sweetie, are you ready to go? The moving truck is about to leave." (y/n)'s mother called.

"Yes. One second." replied a small, sad voice. (Y/n) sighed as she placed the heart shaped locket her best friend gave to her back on her chest. Her memories of her friends were playing in her mind. Times when they would laugh, cry to each other, defend each other, and more. They were a group that stuck together. Now that group is falling apart.

Warm tears fell down (y/n)'s cheeks. It's time to say goodbye to her North Carolinian lifestyle and reluctantly say hello to a Californian life. With one last look at here room and a sigh, (y/n) closed the door to her room one last time. How she would miss the sound of her door creaking when it swung open or closed.

"(Y/n).." Her mother impatiently called.

"I'm coming." She replied as she came down the stairs. It's time to go and (y/n) had to face a new life. Her and her mom climbed into the moving truck and began the long trip across the country.

"Don't worry. Daddy is waiting for us when we arrive." Her mother told her. (Y/n) only nodded and put headphones in to listen to music.

"Oh memories where'd you go? You were all I'd ever known! How I miss yesterday. How'd I let it fade away?"

Panic! At The Disco's Memories played in (y/n)'s ears and brought tears to her eyes again.

'Goodbye' (y/n) thought as the truck pulled out of her driveway.

"Don't fade away!"
