"Darn. This is the weakest out of the bunch. She barely lasted an hour."
A loud thud of a body was heard as soon as it made contact with the floor. Red liquid pooled around a young girl's body. A sigh of annoyance could be heard before a foot kicked the body to a massive pile of other bodies, bleeding simultaneously. Shadows of the room loomed over the pile as three men stood in front of them.
One made a gesture with his hand before some men in black carried the bodies away, ready to toss them out whilst some cleaned the floor. One of them sighed as they took a seat upon a couch, the other two following suit, looking at each other.
"These specimens are not easy to find. We are lucky to get their blood samples but it dies with the owner. But these specimens can't even handle killing a few people without being in pain. What is the point of getting them if they are unable to control their magic upon themselves too?" someone said.
"Well we have to train them. And with these experiments, we are able to know their limits, weaknesses, strengths and many more information."
"Yeah yeah yeah. We get the information we need but the numbers of them are growing thin, Lex," someone said with a malicious tone in the end, a fist hitting the armrest of the couch. "How are we going to find one capable enough?"
A small smirk soon grew on Lex's face as he looked up. His assistant soon raised her hand, grasping a remote, as the screen of a television turned on. The two men looked at the direction of the screen.
On the screen was a news report recording, reporting about an unknown attack on the bank robbers, that were injured horribly. Now, being treated in the hospital in Gotham. The two men looked back at Lex in confusion, waiting for an explanation.
"Now, I had checked on the burglars. They were armed. They stated that they only saw red eyes, attacking them with red liquid. Do you, men, know where I am going with this?" Lex said, a glint of mischief in his eyes as the two men smirked coldly, nodding.
"Well then, let's start finding out who this is," Lex replied as he stood up, the two men immediately leaving.
