hyuna looks deep in his eyes after he said that. she could see the sadness in yedam's eyes.

she pulls her hands away slowly and smile sadly. "we can't be together yedamie. it's for our future."

yedam's expression grew darker after that. seeing that she continue "but we can still be friends, right?"

yedam nods and pat her head, a habit he have since long ago. "yeah hyuna, we can be friends"

hyuna smiles and caress his cheek. "good job for today damie, you did great"

he took her hands into his palm, holding it tightly, not wanting to let it go. "thank you, princess"

hyuna smiles again. suddenly from the distance, hyuna could hear hyunsuk's voice telling her that they need to go home now.

she yells "yes" as a respond to him and hyunsuk yells back saying he's going to take the car so hyuna can take her time to say goodbye to yedam.

who knows maybe it is the last time they get to meet each other?

"yedamie , promise me this" she puts out her little fingers.

yedam raised his eyebrows, feeling confused but he did put out his little finger anyway.

yedam nods and they seal the promise.

they both stands up and yedam accompany hyuna to hyunsuk's car. he watched her to make sure she gets in the car safely. as hyunsuk drives away, yedam waves them goodbye.

"the fate is cruel huh, princess? see you later love "

little did yedam know, it was the last time he gets to meet hyuna.
