My sister Victoria and I were inside a bag. It was cold and dark. Luckily my vision adjusted so I can see what's in front of me. I don't know how long we've been in the bag but it felt like a life time. All I knew is I had to get out. I have been trying to get out since the moment I was in the bag. Victoria has been trying to but fell a sleep a while later. I heard the tires screech to a stop, that must've woken up Victoria because she looked around panicked. "Everything is going to be alright Tori. It's okay." I said to her. She seemed to relax a little a my words. I honestly was just as scared as Victoria but wanted to remain calm for her sake. She got closer to me and nuzzled into the crook of my neck. I felt the bag lifted up and being tossed onto something hard. Most likely concrete. I then heard the truck drive away. Perfect. (note the sarcasm) Victoria and I squirmed around to open the bag. The there were paw steps 'No, no, no, no. This can't be happening' Other cats or dogs usually mean trouble. We are practically sitting ducks here. One of the cat's claws caught on the bag and ripped it open. I caught a glimpse of the cat before it ran away. Victoria's ears flattened most likely because we are now alone again. I was about to say something until a gray cat with white markings on his stomach a grey horizontal strips across his back emerged from behind a sofa sang "Are you blind when you're born?" "Can you see in the dark? " I looked around as more cats emerge. A dark brown cat that's almost black with a white nose, chest, and paws caught my eye. 'He's kind off cute. Stop you don't know him c'mon Katelyn!' I looked up to avoid his gaze and saw a ginger cat laying on top of a chair. "Can you say your bite is worse than your bark?" "Are you cat of walk" "When your walking alone?" "When you fall on your head" "do you land on your feet?" I saw the black and white cat again , his voice is so soft and gentle. I could listen to it for hours. 'Oh my gosh stoooop' " Are you tense when you sense there is a storm in the air?" "Can you find your way blind when you're lost in the street?" "Do you know how to go to the heaviside lair?" 'Heaviside lair? What is that?' "Because jellicles can and jellicles do, Jellicles do and jellicles can, Jellicles can and jellicles do, Jellicles can and jellicles do," They were all dancing including Victoria. She motioned for me to join her, I playfully rolled my eyes and smiled before I joined. "Can you ride on a broomstick to places far distant?" Victoria sang along, this is the first time in a while I've seen her happy. The rest of the lyrics was a blur but I didn't care, for once in my life I was in pure bliss. Suddenly the rest of the cats looked frightened and ran away. I saw Victoria still dancing and sang "Jellicle songs for Jellicle ... cats?" then stopped when she realized no one else was singing and dancing. She looked down embarrassed. 'I am so going to tease her later' "Going to the ball?" Said a low, deep voice. "I wouldn't if I were you, could get dangerous. Plus it would be a waste of time." Victoria and I turned around greeted with a tall and thin male cat with green eyes with a scar over the right. He was wearing a ragged brown jacket that was semi long and a hat that hide his face. I tried to but on a brave face, I have no idea if it worked or not. "You know, they say Macavity will win this year?" "M-Micavity?" I asked mentally scowling at myself for stuttering. "There's no one like, Macavity, A fiend in feline shape, A monster of, depravity ," his voice chanted, fading off into a evil laugh. I looked around as he vanished. One question kept replaying in my mind 'Win what?'
