Notes:
The crying childs name is chris in this because i do not embrace the name evan and also because i said so, this is my fic and i do what i want. Michael is 14, Elizabeth is 8, Chris is 6, Sammy and Charlie are 3, and William and Henry are in their 30s. Henrys divorced and Williams a widow. Also this is my first fic so go off ig

Henry sighed, shoving his paperwork to the side. Dammit, why is it always so fucking hard to concentrate? Maybe it's the buzzing lights, or the sounds of childrens laughter and excitement in the next room over. Or maybe, it's his business partner. William Afton. Henry leaned back and groaned, he'd be a liar if he said that William didn't absolutely intice him. Something about him, something about the way he acted so confidently, something about the way he could charm others with ease with that stupid fucking voice of his. God, what Henry would give to hear that voice moaning his na-

"Henry? You in there?"

Speak of the devil. Henry pushed the papers back in front of him. "Come in, Will" The taller walked into the room, cocky as ever. Henry motioned him over, slamming his head onto the table.

"Woah- you good there? You look like shit."

"Thanks for that."

"You know I didn't mean it like that.;" William rolled his eyes, grabbing the others hand. "Come on, Hen, let's go take a break. The little shits are being too loud anyway, giving me a headache."

Henry smiled, smacking Williams arm away, but obliged nonetheless. "Come on, lets just go."

--------------------------------------------------------
"So, remind me, where are we going?" Henry tapped on the door's handle absenmindedly, too stressed to think about much.

"Wendys, Hen. You need a fucking frosty."

Henry chuckled, eyes glued to the window. He watched every tree go by, every building, every sign. He'd been here all his life, yet he could still find new things to notice. Most things stayed the same though. The oak tree still has his and William's initals carved from when they were kids, now Michael and his friends have theirs carved. Henrys favourite place is now Chris's favourite place. Weird how everything stays the same, but still changes.

"..ry? Henry!"

Henry was shaken from his thoughts by William, snapping his fingers. "You okay? Jesus, you could've passed for a corpse!"

"I'm fine."

"..Whatever you say, Hen."

Henry took in his surroundings as William ordered their food. This is dumb, they really could've eaten at the pizzeria. Sure, that's what they've had for lunch for the past week, but Henry wasn't picky. He could stand eating pizza a few more times. He didn't see why they needed to go out of their way to get something. Here they were, getting something unnecessary that William would undoubtedly insist upon paying for. As nice as the action is, it bothers Henry to feel like a burden. No matter how many times William denies it, Henry knows deep down that he probably hates having to pay for all the shit Henry eats. Stupid stupid stupid, he should've said he wasn't hungry. He should've acted like everything was okay, because he really was okay. He should've just sat back and kept working, it needs to be done anyway. He should've-

"Here Hen, got your favourite."

Henry glanced up. "How much was it?"

"It doesnt matter, I don't mind paying."

"Why are you so nice to me? Not like I'm worth it or anything." Henry muttered, just loud enough for William to hear. It wasn't a question for William, more a thought that made it's way out. Hell, he wasn't even aware that he said it until he did.

"..Wait wait I didn't mean that, I appr-"

"Henry." William's voice lowered, gaze fixed on the blonde. "Don't you fucking say that."

Henry gulped a bit, cheeks tinted red. "I- it just slipped out- I'm sor-"

William sighed, tone lightening. "Don't say sorry. You're worth a lot more than you think, and I want to get you things sometimes. Alright?"

"Alright."
