Silence.

The most painful thing to hear in a moment like this.

The only sound that could be heard was sobbing from future Allison. Future Isaac and future Scott let out silent tears. Their daughter was dead. Ari could also be heard crying, she just lost her best friend. Future Lydia and future Stiles stood behind her with a hand on her shoulder for comfort. Ari was anything but comfortable, she felt like she could've done more or at least done something. She was only a banshee, her powers couldn't have saved her. Just like how Lydia couldn't save Allison all those years ago. Lydia ended up getting Allison back, she got a second chance. Ari was just wishing for hers.

The sound of footsteps cut through the heavy silence. It was Parrish – well more like it was the hellhound. He picked Sydney up and carried her to the nemeton. They all let him because they trust him and at this point, nothing worse could happen. The packs from past and present followed as she was placed onto the tree stump. After doing so, the hellhound walked away and all stood wondering what the hell just happened.

Just then a beat could be heard.

They all looked at each other to make sure it was real.

It was real.

The beat picked up into a normal rhythm. Sydney woke with a deep breath, making sure air reached every part of her lungs. Her eyes flashed yellow, she was finally a wolf – a full one.

"Syd!" Ari escaped her parents' grasp to run to her best friend.

Sydney accepted the hug as she looked around. When Ari let go, Sydney looked around confused. She looked at her parents and her yellow eyes went back to light brown. Her parent finally let out the breath they were holding in. Their daughter was okay and she finally wasn't plagued with the illness.

"What happened?" Sydney asked with dried black liquid around her mouth. She was confused but her parents laughed out of relief and brought her in for a hug.

The pack officially defeated the villains and they all made it out alive— eventually.

They all decided to go to Scott's house to recharge before the future pack went back to their time.

Future Liam walked over to Liam who was sulking in a spot by himself. Liam's mind was racing with everything that just happened and what he wanted to do about Theo. He cared for him but he still didn't know if Theo cared or if Theo would want to be together.

"I know what you're thinking," future Liam stated.

"You do?" Liam asked.

"I'm you so of course I do," future Liam responded as he noticed Liam glancing at Theo every so often, "I can't give too much away, but I can tell you that he does care for things whether he wants to admit it or not. With Ari, Drew, Sydney, and Dean he was the one most protective of them other than their parents of course. He didn't want them to ever be put in a situation like he was. He had changed so much and he will continue to change."

Future Liam let that sink in as he walked away from Liam to join future Theo.

Liam looked over at Theo who stood in the corner by himself and then to future Theo who was laughing with Sydney and Ari. Theo was different from when he first showed up as a villain and he will continue to change. Liam walked over to join Theo.

Theo changed the way he was standing and his mood looked happier because he did find his reason for change — it was Liam.

Scott and Stiles stuck next to each other as everyone interacted with each other. In viewing distance, they could see future Theo. He was happier and seemed to enjoy talking to Ari, Sydney, and future Liam. Future Theo took his hand to brush hair out of his face and Scott and Stiles finally noticed something. His left hand had a black metal ring on the ring finger. As if that wasn't confusing enough, they saw that same ring on future Liam's left hand as future Liam put his arm around future Theo. They kept staring before they were interrupted by Drew pushing Dean to stand next to them.

"Here, now just stay out of trouble," Drew said as he put his hand on Dean's shoulder to hold him in place, "I am so over this babysitting job."

Stiles looked over to his future son. He examined the formal wear and decided to question it finally. It was something that was bugging his mind this whole time.

"Where did you guys come from anyway?" Stiles asked, "Everyone is dressed up nice... or at least they were before everything."

Everyone from the future showed up in clean-cut formal wear but now it was all dirty, worn, and torn. Scott stayed silent because he didn't want to ask. He knew deep down it would not be good for the timeline, but he didn't exactly stop the conversation either.

Curiosity is contagious.

"I don't think I'm allowed to say-" Drew looked to the past version of his father, but before he could stop the conversation from continuing further he was interrupted.

"We came from a wedding," Dean jumped into the conversation with a smile on his face, unknowing of what he had just done.

Drew was quick to cover Dean's mouth with his hands. Drew tried walking away and dragging Dean with him.

"Huh kids, am I right? Always saying crazy things..." Drew awkwardly tried to cover up what just happened. Future Stiles walked over to them and saw Scott and Stiles with wide eyes and jaws dropped.

"What did you do?" Future Stiles asked as he grabbed his son by the shoulder and dragged him along. Drew's hold on Dean was released.

"OW! It wasn't me!" Drew tossed his hands up in defense, "I swear!"

"Leandrew Noah Stilinski!" Future Lydia called out as she saw future Stiles dragging him.

"Oh my god, not the full name," Drew joked knowing he was in a lot of trouble.

Dean sat by and giggled. Future Scott smiled as he took his son over to be closer to him. Future Allison and future Isaac stood beside him. They all found comfort that the fight was finally over. They could finally be a normal family -- well a normal family who most are werewolves. They knew that "normal" was probably ideal but it could be their normal. They finally didn't have to live in fear of creatures or other supernatural beings trying to kill them.

There was finally no fear.

The whole room was filled with conversation and laughter. All of the pack was happy which it seems like it has taken forever to get here. The pack coming from the future does tell everyone that everything will turn out okay and they will all stay together. Sometimes through all the danger, it was hard to see what truly mattered. It was them that mattered.

Their pack, their family.
