I was shopping for a 2 piece for tonight's dinner with Eva and August. Was I tryna get him back? Nah. Do I want him to chase me? Hell yeah. "Oooh now that is the dress." Some lady said. I smiled and said "Thank you." The 2 piece dress was purple.
I was on my way home when I got a text from August.
August: I won't be able to make it. My sis is using my car
Me: I'll pick you up
August: Ight
The kids were at my cousin house. I took a shower. I put on some lotion and my clothes. I got my purse and keys. I called August.
Me: I'm on my way
I hung up. I didn't have anything else to say to him. Our court day was coming up soon. Him and Ty were planning something. I knew it, but I got a story that will come in handy . I got a text from August saying that Eva was gonna pick him up. "Fucking punk." I said out loud.
I got a booth for us. I ordered me some hot wings and a Dr. Pepper.
2 hours later
They didn't show up. I paid the bill and took some desert to go. I was walking to my car when I seen someone walking towards me. "Jexi wait. We were busy." August said. "You was fucking her?" I asked.
"No. It wasn't like that. She's married." "Oh now you learned how to keep your dick in your pants?" I asked. "Jexi. Can you just wait?" He asked. "No. And to think I was gonna let you see the kids. See you in court August." I said.
